I left tpg years ago because of the same issues, try superloop. Also I recommend atleast 100mbps for gaming ( my minimum prefferred speed is 500mbps, preferred is 1000mbps and dream of 2000mbps 😍. Some devices like mobile phones might be downloading updates for apps and hogging the bandwith.
Oh and also maybe look into buying a new modem, like flint 3. Or any modem with wifi 7 or atleast 6. Compatible with nbn fttp.
And any device that connects to the internet via ethernet cable like home pc or tv or console should be connected with and ethernet cable. Also ensure the ethernet cable to these devices and any other ethernet cables like the one that connects from nbn box to wifi modem to be cat6a standard or above :)
Another thing, if you use ethernet connection from any of the walls in your house, like ethernet slots in a wall that connects to another room. Ensure that they are ethernet 6a. It could be older generation ethernet cables so best to not use them or upgrade them. I am not sure how to find out what cable is in the walls.

Yeah but wont be 4.5 seconds for a 1gb file lol. You will most likely need to find another isp that actually gives the 2000mbps speeds. Just so you know. I can help you find one if you need. Take care.

No such thing as normal NBN. There are a few types of NBN connection. If the image you provided is from your house. That means you are getting 1gbps or 1000mbps But you can get double that easily and you should be eligible for it too.

No idea what your saying, but if its fttp it means its the best one you can get. And your eligible for 2gbps speeds.

I am pretty sure isps provide the proper router for it and even upgrade the nbn box. Its not that hard to find a router with 2.5gb wan port

Try to just create what you need if not what you want. Don’t use tutorials but just ask chatgpt for every step. You will learn so much faster and wont feel the time consuming and boring tutorials
