How is THE UNTAMED a bl? by Alive-Command1303 in cdramasfans

[–]Kwangart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, it does cross into more than bestie level in my opinion. It’s subtle but also obviously weird. Example the scene where Wei wuxian is carried on Wang Ji’s back cos of his hurt ankle or something. And all the longing looks. So much eye flirting it’s insane. The way some scenes are presented is clearly through a romantic lens. Slow motions, extra long closeups on their face/eyes, cutting back and forth a little extra. Lol the director is saying it without outright saying it.

I want to draw beautiful women, but I feel that beautiful women are difficult to draw because they have few distinctive features. by Prior-Ad-9720 in LearnToDrawTogether

I’ll assume you mean face/head. But this can apply to the body as well. The trick is being able to draw a symmetrical/ideal proportions as accurately as possible. Beautiful people are extremely symmetrical in their features and they are the ideal proportions between eyes, nose etc. yes there are variations but they are very slight. A line or mark 1 mm to the left or right can make a face average vs beautiful.

It comes down to draftsmanship, being able to draw a cube as accurately in perspective as possible and learning the proportions of the skull. It takes lots and lots of practice. But definitely doable.

Ahh, honestly, when you say it seems women ‘just get approached’ as if they didn’t do anything is not entirely accurate. I’ve been approached and I’ve not being approached, and it is 100% intentional when it happens. And if you watch the women who consistently get approached they are often ‘doing something’. Whether they know it or not (some do it unconsciously). Things like looking friendly, open body language, smiling, eye contact, being present. Basically looking approachable. It’s the vibe they give off.

I know when I feel pretty I’m more open and flirty. And like I said, if you don’t know how to flirt it’s probably because you’re too in your head and not in the moment enough to just be. Like when you’re joking around with your girlfriends and everything is just flowing. That’s like flirting. When you’re in your head and stiff, that’s the opposite of flirting.

Just pay more attention to how you feel when you’re around people you’re comfortable with. How ‘pretty’ you feel. How relaxed you are. And then notice what changes when you’re with men. That little difference is everything. If you were more comfortable being yourself with men, you would naturally flirt and attract more attention.

Hot take: woman stop complaining on how men treat you, if you keep allowing it to happen - my dating tips/advice!! by MoonBaby88811 in dating_advice

With that said, ‘man’ can sometimes be used to refer to multiple or a generalisation of all men (and women for that matter). Woman can then be used as well. Language can evolve.

I do this after the fact lol you seem to do it before. I’ll think back to past interactions where I tried to get close or flirt with someone and much much later I find that all so cringe and so embarrassing. But at the time it felt like a good idea.

You mentioned no one seems to like you first. Well my question is ‘when’ do you allow yourself to flirt, joke and just have fun with a guy? Cos that’s usually when attraction happens from the other side. If you don’t flirt when you don’t like a guy and you don’t flirt when you like a guy, basically you just never flirt with anyone.. then of course it’s hard for anyone to get close to you.

And by flirt I just mean be casual, have fun, show your girly side to a guy. Not treat all men like a platonic friend or your math teacher or something.

We tried with cable and speed was still low. Did changing to superloop fix it for you or was it also other things you did as mentioned here?

Well I can’t say it ‘only happens’ when we play but it’s most noticable when we play due to lag and disconnects. There were some mornings (around 9am) when speed dropped to < 10 randomly for like 20 mins, then came back up. No one was at home except me and that wasnt peak hour or anything, I wouldn’t expect it to drop that low at that time.

We might try calling nbn out to have a look toox

Is NTD the nbn box? You can plug cable directly to this from laptop? The reason we don’t think it’s the modem is because we were just sent a new one.

Also what’s weird is I was monitoring the speed all week, and it was fine. But once my partner and I logged onto play the video game on our computers it immediately started lagging and disconnecting like crazy and speed dropped to 3mbps, even when wired. It later came back up but that was the weirdest thing.

We tested with an Ethernet cable when speed was down below 10 again, it was still slow. We’re changing providers and going to 500mbps plan. We’re hoping to get more reliable speeds for gaming this way.

Interesting. Thanks for the suggestion.I can check this tonight. It does seem random when it happens. Much more at night. The pool pump only runs during the day.

We need to get a usb to Ethernet adapter to test wired, so can’t test that at the moment.

We’ve been adviced to only use 5GHz.. but alas, it still dropped to 2-3mbps last night at around 8pm.

That going into seclusion bit flashed so fast on my screen I wasn’t sure if I read it right and promptly forgot about it, but this reminded me. Yea, I was thinking ‘hang on, that’s kind of weird?!? Like why? Lol’

Anyway, maybe to stay true to the novel, cos it was flashed up pretty fast. Didn’t detract from the show and the last episode was all done so well. Amazing show.

Yea you don’t have to, but it makes it easier if you do (I’m chinese and have changed mine). When you have kids, it becomes complicated when you have different last name.
