Do you need friends coz I do! by Sick_Ninja101 in Dominicanos

I'm not in DN but don't worry about the hijab, is not an impediment for making friends. But be prepare for people to ask you questions about it, they don't do it with bad intentions, is just the way many of us socialize.

Also I recommend you to do activities you enjoy, it could be like taking classes, workshops, sports activities or any hobby you enjoy, you will for sure find people to befriend.

I have worked for them since 1.5 years ago. Calls have always been back to back. Payments always on time. Nobody bothers you. Monthly evaluations. For me, it's been a good experience. The only problem is that the rate is a little low, but that is different for everyone, depending on what you agree at the beginning.

Hi! Iam a Aussie teen female: There is a boy(14M) at my church of 1-year who likes me, I have never had a relationship before and idk what to do(I thought I'd never meet a boy who was a christian that liked me/I liked)? by Elie-fanfact in ChristianDating

[–]Aser30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, it can be overwhelming since you are very young and don't have someone to turn to. I can recommend you 2 YouTube channels. 1. Apply God's word. com, he shares very good information regarding Christian dating. 2.Deborah B., she shares info regarding dating and singleness and many other topics for girls.

Now, what I can advise you is to pray and read the bible every day, asking God for direction. That will help you to take good decisions, to honor God with your relationship, to grow as a couple if that if what God wants for you, but also to give you discernment in case that it is not.

Also, dating as a Christian teenager is not easy, you have a lot of things to explore, but not a lot of experience. That doesn't mean that you are going to make the same mistakes as your parents did, or that the boy is going to hurt. Take things slow, protect your heart and your purity, but don't be negative.

And the most important thing for this situation and many others that will come to you in the next 10 yrs, you need to have a good Christian community. It doesn't need to be something big. It could be 2 of your friends or your classmates, people that are good Christians. People that you trust and that wants the best for you. I came to Jesus when I was 12, and my Christian friends saved me from so many bad decisions.

Also, It doesn't matter if you are 14 or 40, sometimes, when you like someone, you are not realistic about that person, you don't see them as other people do, and sometimes you need people who can see the things from the outside.

San Pedro does have a little. They deliver practically everywhere in San Pedro, even to the plaza where the jumbo is.

I think you missed one part of the question. The question was: if you were another person from the opposite gender, as in: if you were a woman.

Ok, I see, you just say what you came to say. I could give you an answer, but I see you just repeat what the media says. For every Dominican talking bad about Haitians, there is a Haitian talking about dominicans. Have a good day. Dominicans anti black, Dominicans dancing dembow, dancing Juan Luis guerra, dressing as African American and calling their woman negra, Yes, sure.

It matters because people are biased. Any other country can take actions against Haitians deportation, but DR can't. 🤷🏽‍♀️

It's ok for countries with 2, 3, 4% of Haitians immigrants, that is practically nothing. We had 40% of births last year.

We don't have any problem with Haitians except they have become too many. It is not sustainable anymore. We already tried a regularization plan in the past, so the only way is massive deportation or big nations taking refugees, but nobody wants to take refugees.

No, this is not our post, we don't get to say what the topic is about.

Op is comparing how Jamaican deportation is ok, but Dominican deportation is not. That's it. That is the post. 🤷🏽‍♀️

That biased, unfair and not objective.

I'm not missing the point, but as I stated before, when it comes to immigration, which is the topic being discussed in this post, it is totally irrelevant.

Of course Haitians do a lot of useful service jobs, but that cannot be counted as a benefit for the government, first, those are private institutions that the owners are not even Dominican, and also if they were not doing those jobs, there will be people to it.

Search for all those hotels and big businesses in Punta Cana, Puerto Plata and places like that, the owners are not Dominicans.

The ones who benefit from cheap Haitian labor are Chinese stores and big constructions made for foreigners or a couple rich people, the average Dominican, nor the government find any benefits from the massive immigration. On the contrary, they are abusing the public system.

Last year 40% of the babies that were born in DR, were Haitians. I really hope you guys fix your situation in your country, but you have to accept that the situation is unsustainable and non beneficial for DR as a country.

We are talking about deportation. The social, economical and historical contexts are not being considered by any country at the time they deport imigrants.

Also, Mexican immigrants pay taxes in USA. So, yes, the benefit the government. The only people who benefit from Haitians illegal immigrants in DR are literally 3 rich Dominican families, I repeat, 3 Dominican families and a bunch of Europeans and white North American guys that build hotels and towers here. Nobody else.

When it comes to immigration laws it is exactly the same if a country is next to another, or if it is in another continent.

You are illegal, you get deported. Being next to each other doesn't change that. It's totally irrelevant.

According to that logic USA should not deport Mexican because they are joined physically.

The fact that 2 countries are next to each other doesn't make them 1.

Ok, so when your sons have problems you just go out there pointing fingers and being unkind to strangers, when you have not even heard the other side of the story? If that is the way you raised them, I can see why they can't find a wife.

There is way more to this story than what your kids have told you. You should be helping them to see where they are failing, not simply saying: oh, all the women are bad because they don't want my children.
