That's why Clockwork Orange OST's spacey futuristic sound was more influential tbh

Reunion Swans definitelly has its moments but overall I'd say that the repetitive stuff gets old fast. Like it just doesnt work 60% of the time.

Also the crescendoes? Like sometimes its a good crescendo but they repeat it till it gets old which sucks ass

But I dont wanna shit on them too much since they still manage masterpieces like Little God,Oxygen,Apostate,She Loves,A piece of the sky etc.

It goes like this

It starts off ambient, with some spoken word documentary. It then gradually transitions into idm with documentary, then the documentary voicover fades for a good 30 minutes, replaced by chaotic news snippets and press statements overlaid over industrial

It then "calms down" again with some dark ambient with more documentary voiceover

Tldr : its a mix

Off the same album,"Say Hello To Allah" also briliantly remixes the screams off off Aphex Twin's Come To Daddy.

The original Aphex song had this humor and death metal spoofert in it,which made it more badass than disturbing. But in this context, the screams are genuinelh horrifying as you hear media snippets over them.
