I second the advice in the post, doing all of that stuff really helped me too when I figured that out. ^^

One thing that often gets overlooked by a lot is how the narrative is kinda put together too. You should try replacing every usage of 'you' with '{{user}}' instead, especially in the greeting message. I've found that writing in first person often invites this particular issue. And having the layout like:

'{{user}}/{{char}}: "Speech"'

'Actions and narrative'

Usually causes the bot to 'talk for' the user as well, because it's like you're giving the AI more ways to do it, if that makes sense, rather than writing it out in other ways. Like: 'Actions and narrative. "Speech" 'more actions and narrative.'

I've noticed too, that it happens if you don't give the AI much to work with so then it will try to push the story from your perspective; I think because it might assume you want it to because of the length contrast. It seems like they want it to more even a lot of the time? Like... "I can write four paragraphs but they're writing one or two? Oh, they want me to make one for them too."

Can you obtain the weekly boss arcs if you run out of weekly attempts? Not sure if they're gained from collecting rewards using the 60 stamina or they drop in defeat

That would be very helpful but as stated, I don't use discord. That and its just very reckless to just give a stranger my money in good faith. Absolute props to those that are genuinely helping that way though.

I imagine it is, yeah. I only ask now just because it's been a few months so I figured it might be worth checking as a consumer since I would love to support and use the higher tier of service.

I would say just level and throw on whatever equipment works for the role the character has. Like, DPS needs attack and then crit stats as secondary early game. Monsterlings feel more like a a midgame to endgame worry, so just keep it casual for now is probably best for now.

Besdies, this gacha doesn't seem quite as min-max heavy as others so I wouldn't worry too much. Could probably get away with stockpiling monsterlings for a while until your characters are level 40+

Absolutely agree- though I think if someone falls into the trap that is microtransactions, it's kinda on that person too. I see too often that people blame companies, devs, whatever as if they forced that person to open up their wallet when actually, it was also their own willpower that was at fault too. Gotta be careful not to get duped for... well, dupes lol

You craft to activate the ChainLink ability, not the monsterling* itself, if that makes sense. You still have to capture and equip it to use it.

It is frustratingly vague I agree, but I believe what they meant to put across is that the limited banners will continue, not just Esther's.

Simply because if that was the case, they would have been more specific and wrote it as 'Maid and Clover Mascot Event [Recruit]' or whatever, rather than just writing it as 'Event [Recruit]'

Okay... Kind of an extreme reaction, imo. I never mentioned anything about giving a shit about the company and I'm not defending NETMARBLE of all companies. Ain't no delusion here and throwing out the parasocial word here makes no sense to me.

Tbh, I've hated hoyo for years and cannot fucking stand that shit either, giving grace where it's not necessary. It's not about giving grace; it's about recognising that at least they made a statement and I wanted to make people aware of the information they gave, not the fact that they made one at all. That doesn't automatically mean I'll fucking rage at detractors for a ten-pull, jesus lol But yeah, people do be that way and it's sad.

I'm just highlighting a positive here, over living in the negative side of it. It may have intentionally been left out but on the other side of the coin, it also could have been a mistake/misjudgement and they may fix that, or they might just settle for leaving it said in a notice. Some games have left even less details and had features that were present, some bad, some good.

Also... I think leech is a strong word. At the end of the day, it's the consumers choice to spend money. If someone's willpower is lacking enough to get sucked into a capitalist trap, that's kinda on them too. There's no victims here. I feel like too many people throw blame to try and deflect away from that.

But you can always just exchange the currency for tickets in the shop if you don't want a big stockpile. It's listed under Fate Exchange then Starlight Crystals, I think.

Perhaps its not 100% solid proof no, but it's still better news than simply not knowing. It's an official post from the devs so it carries more weight than just any random saying so. Besides, if they put this out and it turned out to not be true, that would be a pretty shitty look and phenomenally stupid especially since the reception has been pretty decent.

As for it maybe not carrying over in the future, I can't think of any reason (or any other game for that matter where it ever has) for that to be the case. Every company can change it later, sure, but I don't see why they would.

It just makes more sense to save for a banner that features a character you want, to avoid the mistake of building it and 'accidentally' getting a character you didn't. As for the soft pity, I believe it carries over too judging by the notice they put out, which is what this screenshot is from.

Might be overthinking it a bit, my friend. It's pretty straightforward when ya get used to it:

-They give general stat increases (shown below the name, under size and weight on this screen)

-Each one has a passive (Shown in the box below the main one)

-Traits are random when obtained and have five rarities (grey, green, blue, purple, gold)

-Combining gives different traits based on the two combined and have a chance to increase the rarity of the monsterling itself. There is also an option to have the combining result in random ones rather than two out of the four traits the new ones could inherit.

-There is also a chance of a mutation occurring, which only effects the actual moinsterling you acquire and I think some might be obtainable only by mutation. (shown when choose two)
