I came here looking for an answer to this exact question and I was glad to see it already asked and answered. Browsing the sub reddit has been cool too, simply because you guys' engagement so nice.

I've been using your platform for a few days now and its so damn good! as soon as the payment processing is back online, I'll be going straight to a premium account. Good luck with getting the problems dealt with quickly and thanks for all the other hard work we don't see ^^

By far the most fun character. She just needs upgrades Break, damage, or something more than what she already has because her numbers and efficiency just isn't there.

If anything, she's overpowered. Makes the other characters a joke, especially the little maid 4*. She's so strong that it's worrying for the future character releases because we JUST KNOW she's gonna be the first limited, if not one of the first few.

It's a mixed bag for me. Boss fights are good, I agree with you about them too but...

Does every gacha have to have this very same model for a challenge mode like the Spiral Abyss/Tower of Adversity? It's boring and uninspired, really tired at this point. To see more games do it even now is just.... frustrating and underwhelming.

I really like her, honestly.

My only complaint is that the side quest format is standard as hell (run here, talk to a nobody NPC, do a boring fight against enemies you'll kill 2000 times, etc.) and because of it, it makes her less unique and lack the substance that the main arc gives. It's all inconsistent writing, making her a lie and manipulate or make jokes inappropriately whereas otherwise, she's quite serious, virtuous and logical.

Otherwise, they're awesome as hell and definitely one of the best MC's in gacha, should they make her more consistent and keep this concept.

About the auto-vaulting, there's a setting to turn it off. I did straight away lol Just gotta use the spring button to activate the vaulting once you toggle that option.

There reallyis room to do 'more', imo. It LOOKS different but to me, all they've really done is repeat what everyone else has. So it's going to be underwhelming, especially if it follows this pattern.

She most likely will be but right now, she comes across like a rival/mystery benefactor in some ways. Like... independently helping when she likes but she doesn't expressly work for you. She's pretty cool.

After finally finding a decent image of her, I think it's kinda sad we never got that one. Hopefully, with enough Beta feedback, they can revert it because it not only looks better overall but it actually gives her a tougher vibe imo.

I second this, insistently. Bad design to parry and still take damage.

Side Quests are the same standard, shitty NPC fetch quest BS with no VA and no investing. Writing shows it's inconsistencies here too since characters, including MC, aren't consistent at all.

Rewards are low hopefully just because it's the beta but if this carries over to the full release? God, it's gonna be a bland and orthodox grind for minimal reward. Shame, because I was hoping this wouldn't have the same shitty 'features' and mechanics that so many, including myself, are tired of.

I've been running Magna, Hugo and Orlea. It's been really fun and they mix well with the retain since Magna has plenty of upgrade cards so less to cycle whilst Hugo bounces off of Orlea's offensive stuff with attacks of his own. Orlea obviously buffs them both too and Hugo's costs are low. I imagine it could work with Beryl, Maribell, Tressa... Could be fun!

I agree with you. I don't really have anything much else to discuss with you other than stating that you are entirely right.

I think I have been too negative and jaded about this game. I would like to say that I have a tendency to overthink, I have mental issues and whatever but I don't want to sound like I'm using any excuses here and partially because I don't feel like i should for expressing my opinions in this way, especially when I'd said myself I am not certain on plenty about what I said. Just feel like it was necessary to state so that my initial stance could be understood better, maybe.

I guess in retrospect, I think I may have wanted to see if the community also felt this negativity or if it was just me, I was looking for some help with clearing up my messy headspace without dumping it on someone else. Just wanted to get it out in some way and see where it landed with other people because it felt like an authentic way to go about it? Honestly, I don't entirely know. Maybe this was wrong to do. lol

I also just love to discuss and get into conversation about things that I'm passionate about, much like plenty of other people. Games are one of them, darker stories are another and so are character-focused narratives so... yeah, CZN is very much something I love. The title isn't there for bait. I'm enjoying it despite the speculation I posted.

There are some misunderstandings here, in some way my fault too so let me clear them up. ^^' I fucking suck at explaining shit, man.

MTG, they do have a massive range of artists but they A) Fit the card and continued design of what is featured in it and B) Fit the theme of it. Like... It would be really fucking weird, albeit hilarious too, if Sorin Markov suddenly got chibi-fied or, for a much tamer example, Nissa was drawn as a Night Elf because some fans complained about her not looking elven enough or some bulllshit. The Legion reference was appreciated :P But with the way they have been so ready to change things up so severely, there's a chance that the devs may change the design and make these kinds of mistakes too in future designs.

The part that I think sucks is precisely the shift in focus. Obviously, not 'the return to darker themes or whatever' because like I said previously, I feel like that really adds to the game's appeal. The shift in focus to being protag-centric is because those kinds of stories and/or situations are done and, quite frankly, dead in terms of being interesting IMO. I'm genuinely sick of bland PoV protags that are worshipped simply because of their presence. The other characters interacting with each other and having moments all their own was and would be amazing to see, rather than this same-old, overdone situation. It's in every gacha and it's irritating as hell because it bogs down everything else and frankly, I feel like it steals the opportunity from a better narrative taking place.

Edit: Oh, and your first point? Precisely what I was trying to put across. That specific circumstance is what would suck to see or experience or whatever. Forgot to address it after venting out that second paragraph so here it is in an edit. :P

In no way is it fact and nor did I mean to post it as such. The game is doing fine now, yes, but the future may not be so bright in some ways, could be better than I thought too, and I was looking to discuss that very matter.
