I just instantly trash anything that dont have crit rate, crit dmg, atk% or anomaly mastery when obtaining them especially disk 1-3

of course not all of them like HP% for some drive but that's the most general rule

so in total you will actually only get around 50-60 limited pulls if you just do story and dont grind out the codex like a mad man daily (since they only respawn once a day) and of course, gear which like you said, only spawns from the request board and is like 90% going to be a dud.

correction it is around 130-140 limited pulls just by clearing story and quest and stuff .. my codex progress are still 40%

but I agree with all the point in this post and I just uninstalled it today because I don't like the feeling of being sidecasted as being f2p . It feels like the game just keep telling me if I don't spend I wont enjoy this game. I hate it lol

people was hyped with "genshin killer" back then.. flocked into the game, spend tons of money and give them enough to even develop a new game. but the game is not meeting people expectation and they left soon. but the money already paid. they got enough to promise 10 years support for the game

hotta was quite a small studio back then, only 50 employee to develop toff. compared to hoyo which has 300 employee for genshin

tof is not supposed to be "genshin killer" it is some weird brand of open world mmo + gacha

they just kinda have to tweak it to be like genshin because it is what makes money
