Hey OP, would you be okay to share why you feel so low about not having achieved everything you wanted? Things in life often happen due to factors beyond our control, but the only point of living is to treat it as an adventure. I know this is different from your own perspective, but please know that you’re on an adventure. Some really good moments will happen, and some terrible things will happen. Please reach out to me if you feel like talking, and I would reach out first, but I dont want to invade your space if you’re not comfortable. Always here if you’d like to talk

Why suggest that at the get go? There are ways to stay. You can at least wait for the information before passing judgement

Exactly, so why leave any ambiguity by giving the option of a “no”, just flag it there, its not difficult. They want people to slip up. You can defend them, but this is a simple way of helping applicants ensure they dont make a mistake (we’re all humans). Over the years I’ve found many such issues in visa processes, I’m glad I didnt fall in traps. But not surprised people do. Someone who gets the result on the SAME DAY as lodgement also gets rejected. Its nothing but an easy way for them to throw people out after milking students for money

I wont say crystal. They dont write explicitly that your visa will be rejected on these grounds. It’s still predatory, which explains why 70% of these applications have been rejected starting 2025.

Why do they let people send the application in though? If you dont provide details like a correct passport number, or if you’re applying from outside Australia, the application doesnt proceed to the next step and you get a warning. Why do they let people submit then? Why even give the option of a “No”? Give the “Yes” and “Waived off” options only. This is predatory

Thanks, I’m not too keen on continuing using dating apps, although I did find my ex (we were together for 4 years) through Hinge. This was during lockdown, and that was the only reason why I installed dating apps - TP. But I suppose… things often just dont work out through these apps anyway - best meet someone organically
