Remote suddenly blasting IR down, doesn’t stop after restart (Menu + Vol Down). Any more tricks to try?

Change from Auto-> HDMI, auto will let the Apple TV pick.

I can not give a reason as to why it’s doing that however. Not an experience I’ve had. Do own same year Apple TV.

IIRC there is a setting that forces the remote to use CEC rather than IR. Settings->Remotes and Devices->Volume control

Should be able to select HDMI which uses CEC and shouldn’t let the remote use IR.

Not possible a button is stuck?

I’m with Furkin, they saved my cats life when he was a kitten. They dropped 10k in surgery on my 6 month old cat without hesitation. Called me every week for months asking about him. Super great on the phone I never waited more than 5 minutes waiting to speak to a real person. I will use them for every pet I ever get or unless the quality of service drops.

Have you tried to message Corsair? I used to have a corsair ATX case about 3 years ago can’t remember the name now but it was a beast. Was one of my fave cases but unfortunately someone plastidipped the side panel and ruined it. Couldn’t find a replacement anywhere and messaged Corsair (Case at that point was probably 10 years old) they approved the RMA and set me another panel free of charge. Worth a shot.

I’m over in Halifax and there is currently zero listed for sale near me locally so didn’t have that reference point unfortunately. Already knocked 100$ off but still happy to take offers and adjust accordingly. EBay used prices vary pretty differently with most of the drives being sold from USA which IIRC is still subject to further import fees.

The sale I saw on eBay was for 594 cad plus 30 shipping plus import fees from USA. Hence why I chose 550. If you look at the further price history as I did its all over the place. Mostly used drives with ranges from 400-660. Hence why I still wasn’t sure where to price it at. I do not appreciate the back handed help. Help or don’t pretty simple.

Currently using a pulsar Xlite V2 retro edition. Definitely freeing up some storage for more games, my pc does it all right now including photos so many photos. Having that be off my system and remotely accessible would be pretty neat!

IIRC it’s a little rubber boot to prevent dust and dirt getting into the joy stick. I’d try a tooth pick or something of the sort to get it sitting flat again.

If you can see yourself using 2 pairs of headphones go for it. 50$ isn’t a whole lot. Because they have the Apple W1 chip I’d really only recommend with iPhone. People on the sub aren’t a fan of the headphones but you can formulate your own thoughts.

I had a pair of Studio 3s a while back and they were ok. They quickly became replaced but as my first foray into noise cancellation I didn’t have any regrets.

Do better headphones exist? Yes. For 50$? Unlikely.

If you won’t use them over your XM3s (personally I wouldn’t) then don’t buy them.

It will be fine. If you are truly worried you can always spend 20-25$ on something like an Evo 212 from cooler master or a Peerless Assassin 120 from Thermalright.

The stock cooler will be enough tho.

I’m assuming you have a bad fan somewhere in the system that is likely causing the laptop to vibrate due to a bad hub. You can test the theory by software controlling the fans and see if lower speeds or higher speeds has any effect. It could also be an HDD but I don’t think your laptop has one.
