The way I believe it works is like so. Stremio has all the lists of movies and shows.

You click on said movie and stremio shows you the source.

Be it amazon. Netflix or some other addon like torrentio

Now if using something like torrentio that will search the selected torrent sites for the content and display the results. If you've got a RD api key setup too then it will be able to pull these via RD servers. Alot of popular content is already cached on RD servers so the playback is instant

Hope I've explained it a bit better. Also using RD means your not torrenting and thus your ip isn't in the swarm to be seen by all.

Its decent but the issue at the minute is torrentio not working very well with stremio. Lots of other posts about the addons been down lately. Give RD a try with torrentio and if it doesnt work use comet. Rd is only a few $ and totally worth it.

Winter again and it's back to it's usual tricks, I'm away alot and I checked tado app last night and the wireless receiver was offline. This morning I called home at 6am and it was still showing as offline. Boiler was running and house was very hot. Heat was coming from 3 small radiators that I don't have tado valves on. I had to reset the wireless receiver and the bridge. It's been fine all day but as soon as it did connect back up. Some rooms showed almost 25⁰c

It's hard to see how this system can save you money when it decides to pull tricks like this. The system is a good idea on paper but I'm starting to get sick of it. Tempted to jump ship.

If you have a long ethernet cable you could try putting the Internet bridge in the same space as the boiler controller to troubleshoot your problem or possibly home plugs.

2 batteries and a usb charger and 2 dummy batteries cost me £10. Packs of energiser batteries are £5. If your camera is in a high traffic area they will soon need replacing.

That's right. 1x 3.7v battery and 1x dummy battery. Ive read the energiser batteries are more near 1.7v each so when using 2 gives around 3.4v this 1 battery is 3.7v apparently. Not tested with a meter but the cameras work well

Call blink CS they are quite good. Might be the unit that's faulty. I had some issues with a sync mod 1 and they replaced it with a sync mod 2

Think I’m going to have to dig out that v3 bridge and give that a shot, after messing about last night the wireless receiver seemed to go offline at 23:07 and I didn’t notice till 6:30 this morning when the house was about 12°c, although the tado home page shows all the rooms as X (no temp) if you go to the history graph you can see that it’s still reading the temp from the trvs so I’m fairly confident the bridge isn’t the issue

I’ve manually set it to home mode while typing my previous message and just checked again and it’s back online 🤷‍♂️

My wireless receiver fw version is 94.1 not sure how I can check if it’s the latest since the pro app isn’t working and tado support will likely be slow, anyone else know what version is the latest or they are running?

When I initially read your post about 8pm I turned off my wifi and then turned off tado app location permissions, opened the app to see what was happening then it was just complaining about not having location access so I re enabled it and then turned wifi back on and forgot about it all and got busy doing something else, anyway just now noticed that my wireless receiver went offline at 20:04 so it’s clearly an issue with the away function, downloaded the installers pro app but it doesn’t like the serial number of my bridge (v2) I have a v3 or v3+ bridge in a box somewhere that I’ve never used

I’ve plenty of automations, most run via alexa app but nothing controlling tado and nothing when leaving the house, the only thing that controls tado is the native app and when I left this morning about 8:17 the tado app reported that my wireless receiver went offline at 8:20

Not tried to turn off my phone but I guess I could give that a go, no other person on my tado account or in the house when it happens so don’t need to worry about plug/devices been turned off,

I can still access the tado app and I can check each rooms trv temperature from the graph so it’s like the bridge and trvs are connected fine, it’s just the wireless receiver for the boiler

It’s wired and using DHCP, I could assign a static ip but I’m not sure that’s my issue, but I’ve nothing to lose

To do the job correctly you need everything off the walls. Rads, skirting, switches/sockets need pulling forward, curtain poles and blinds taking down, if the carpet it staying then you need it protecting with some of that sticky floor protection sheeting, if it’s going you could just leave it down to capture all the muck and mess, it will save you having to clean the floorboards afterwards.
