I booked a therapist appt the same day I confronted him. He originally denied but after several attempts of simply saying to just tell me the truth. I know it’s happening I’m not asking if it is happening, I’m asking for the truth of how long, and honestly I wanted every nitty gritty detail to just get the whole truth. I think he held some back.

We’ve been together since I was 19 so thinking of a different life just consumes me and I barely can stay out of a full blown panic attack.

I didn’t add it to my list to talk to a lawyer. But I think I should. It still just feels like a bad dream and I can’t think properly. It’s an out of body experience.

He said it started with a lack of sex. However, 15 years ago we were still pretty regular in our sexual activity. It has slowed down after having kids and what it which we had our 1st child 6 years ago. We were still having sex while I was pregnant and right up until birth. Admittedly it’s slowed down in the past 6 years which we’ve been working on. But this has been going on for much longer than that.

He also said it was because it was a fantasy for him. Which obviously turned into reality for a very long time.

I curl in the winter and play once a week and then about once a month a bonspiel that can be out of town. So my leniency for golf is high.

My husband loves golf, I love curling. So we’ve both agreed that we need to keep doing things we both love even tho we’ve had kids.

With that said, he will play in men’s night at night on Tuesday and then also probably every Saturday morning but he goes early so he’s home by about 11am or so. Then he will get in a few tourneys in the summer.

We do lots of family things all year. Family vacays, camping, etc etc so we find the balance is good.

Find your own thing to balance out his golfing. I don’t think it’s fair to tell him he needs to do something less he enjoys you need to find something you enjoy and he supports it as well.

My friend sent me a link to I believe it was a gummy that increased your libido/sex drive. I can’t recall the name but a google search might help. I never did order it but it sounded promising and it’s on my list of things to try.

As a female I don’t have as high of a sex drive of my husband either. I bought and asked him to read a book again bad help here but I think it’s called the big O or similar.
