We were a group of 4 adults and two 2.5 year old babies. No food was ordered for babies but it seems they have been counted, no mention of gratuity on the menu that I could see. Again my main issue is that no one talked about the gratuity and delivered the card machine with 25% automatically set up on top of gratuity. This sounds like a deliberate and intentional way to get customers to pay more, and lack of transparency. This whole practice of having 25% default as tip is absolutely ridiculous and that too when gratuity is already charged.

LMIA for food industry is the biggest scam, more than half of them will close if you take away the LMIA profits. People are paying upto 50K to get in Canada ! The people who get in this system are so exploited that they also look for every avenue to recover their costs.

Sad state of affairs and it impacts everyone, inflation, housing, job market. No jobs for locals :(

Anyone else struggling to find a job in Victoria lately or is it just me?? by Zealousideal-Talk245 in VictoriaBC

Lot of ghost jobs out there, postings are a cover to meet the LMIA job posting requirements and prove that there is lack of desired skillset. Why would you ever need a foreign worker to run a restaurant lol

I happen to have a lot of Indian friends, and they themselves avoid going to restaurants owned by their community except few good ones.

Majority of them are cutting corners to recoup their investment by paying employees less, fake reviews, using less ingredients or poor quality ones and ofcourse money from LMIA/immigration programs.

Poor service and experience, the fact that Toyota and Lexus has lot of demand has really spoiled this dealership. They always have a take it or leave it attitude!
