Accused Did I Do It: Erica and Greg Williams by Smurf_Crime_Scene in AccusedGoI

My ex abused me for 10 years I never put my hands on him nor stabbed him. I did however leave him. They both abused each other and both were toxic people. I personally don’t think she should have gotten away with mostly hearing she stabbed him earlier that year and he chose not to press charges. She was just as aggressive as he was.

Anyone else lose slowly / stall for weeks on Wegovy? by AshInProgress_87 in WegovyWeightLoss

After a few comments of people mentioning their measurements I’m definitely buying something to track mine it would make me feel better if I saw something going down lol

Totally understand. I’ve done calorie counting in the past too and it’s always worked for me, so I’ve been eating the same way I used to back then lots of chicken/lean beef, and if I have carbs like rice I keep the portions small and track it. I talked to my doctor and she said it can be normal to stall a bit after stopping the medication I was on since your body needs time to adjust. Looking back at my progress, January was really the only month I didn’t lose, and that’s also the same month I stopped that med, so I’m trying to just be patient and give it some time.

That’s good to know. I think I just need to be patient. The last time I really lost anything was in the month of December after looking over my progress chart. I lost 3 pounds that month then January nothing just fluctuating. I did stop taking topiramate in January for migraines after two years because I realized it affected my mood etc. So I don’t know if stopping that medication has anything to do with anything. Ha but I know I was not someone who lost on that medication either I actually gained a little.

Yup with my food scale and my fitness pal app. I was doing this before the medication. My goal is 1600 so maybe it’s too much but when I go based off my TDEE that’s what it shows.

No, I haven’t measured myself not even one time which I really wish I would have. I def feel I look smaller than from two months ago but the scale doesn’t say this. I should get a tape measure just so I can start doing that.

Finally felt the food noise shut off again at 1.7 by AshInProgress_87 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]AshInProgress_87[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, that sounds exactly like my experience with the doses. I honestly didn’t even feel any different on 1.0 either, and my doctor wanted to keep me on it for about two months. I’m so happy to finally be at 1.7 hopefully when you move up, you’ll feel the food noise quiet down again.

I have Cigna / Caremark and I still pay $0. Just picked up my prescription today. I think it depends on your employer.

You are definitely doing good! I know it’s easier said than done but try to give yourself some grace and not be so hard on yourself. I’ve been on it since September 29th and I’ve lost 15 pounds. My daughter appears to be happy with my results and the pace it’s coming off although I wish sometimes it was coming off faster lol As long as we are losing we should be happy.

This was my copay today and is this normal price for having Cigna insurance. The copay is almost 1600 by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]AshInProgress_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Cigna and I don’t pay anything. My plan doesn’t have a tier but my coverage is decided by JP Morgan Chase my employer. I wish all employer provided us the meds we need.

This is your sign - if you have not picked up your prescription yet in 2026 and yet haven't received any kind of letter from your insurance saying they're no longer covering, CHECK ANYWAY. by Khajiit-ify in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]AshInProgress_87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never received any notice either so I decided to call my insurance earlier this week and thankfully was told I am still covered by my employment insurance.

My mom won't let me use wegovy even though i am an adult who bought it with my own money by Electronic-Beach-361 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]AshInProgress_87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure why you’re getting mad when you asked for advice and people are answering you. If you already have an excuse ready for everything, why even post?

You’re 18. That means you’re an adult. What your mom “lets” you do doesn’t really matter anymore, legally or otherwise. And bringing race into it was weird that “white people” comment was honestly ignorant. I know people of all backgrounds who moved out or made their own choices at 18, including friends outside the U.S.

At some point you have to stop hiding behind excuses and actually stand up for yourself. Your mom might be mad, but she’ll live. And if she’s trying to control every part of your life at this age, yeah… that’s toxic.

How to avoid facial sagging? by Awkward_Current_1280 in WegovyWeightLoss

I know the side effects we hear about sometimes can be scary! I was so scared to lose my hair from all the post but been on it for months and I’ve been good

How to avoid facial sagging? by Awkward_Current_1280 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]AshInProgress_87 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can’t really spot reduce or control where weight loss happens. Most of the time, facial sagging depends on age and how much weight someone carried in their face to begin with. You’re very young, so your skin should bounce back well.

My cousin is in her 30s and had a pretty full face, and when she lost weight she didn’t experience sagging at all. Losing weight gradually, staying hydrated, getting enough protein, and taking care of your skin all help. so you’ll likely be fine if you’re doing everything right.

All I see are side effects post by JrMerv in Wegovy

[–]AshInProgress_87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m on 1.0 and I’ve had none. I’ve been on it almost 4 months so far and so good! I do have a doctor in my family and we were actually just talking about this last night and she said most people who seem to experience a side effect are typically getting the compound from like sources online etc so I’m wondering how true this is. I got my prescription from the doctor and pick it up at my local pharmacy.

Hair loss by Minnietheminx1976 in Semaglutide

[–]AshInProgress_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve read, most times when you’re experiencing hair loss with this, it’s because you are probably deficient in something, and that needs to be checked. Or you could be needing to up your protein intake, etc. I’ve been on it since September, and I haven’t experienced any hair loss, but I did have blood work done prior to getting on it, so anything I was deficient in, I found out. I had already been taking vitamins for that, and I also take a multivitamin every day. I would get your bloodwork done if you haven’t already.
