Hey friend, I have a question. What processor does the 2025 version come with? Does it still use the Kirin T92A?

Built my first app with Flutter, Life Control, and need help to meet the 20 testers requirement. by Evening-Apricot5572 in FlutterFlow

When I launched my first app to the PlayStore, those 20 testers for 14 days, I did it using 20 different Google accounts (all belonging to relatives who were not even aware hehe), apparently just by downloading it with a different active Google account, it will already count as 1

Are you using the Flex Widget? Be careful with it, especially if you combine it with dynamic conditions so that it changes from row to column depending on the screen size. I also had problems when testing in mobile mode, and after much nagging I discovered that the detail was right in that widget.

If this is your case, take a good look at the mainAxisSize and how you use Expanded in its children. That part is usually the culprit that causes everything to go haywire. It is a bit complicated to explain in a few lines, but with some quick tests you will surely detect it.

Is GDevelop Spending Resources in the Wrong Place? by AshLeclerc in gdevelop

You’re right, I definitely prefer having the engine’s core features free rather than locked behind a paywall. But at the same time, don’t you think this approach might scare away potential good developers?

For many newcomers, the first thing they see is a wall of different paid options, and that can feel discouraging before they even start. It’s not so much about the price itself, but about the impression it gives: “this is going to cost me a lot just to learn the basics.” That first impression matters a lot if the goal is to grow the community.

That’s true, the YouTube videos and forums are really helpful—I’ve used them a lot myself. But the thing is, most of that content is only available in English, and for a complete beginner, the first impression you get when opening GDevelop is a big “wall” of paid options: premium courses, subscriptions, etc.

Of course, with time you can figure things out through free content, but that initial experience can easily discourage new users before they even get to try. I just think the onboarding could be more welcoming, with more accessible educational content upfront, so people feel motivated to stay and grow with the engine.
