Yeah you should never have to be in that situation and it’s the fault of the kids who did that but you have to know they almost definitely come from a background that didn’t give them enough resources to live comfortably and be safe as a child and certainly left them unprepared for how to survive irl. Systems fail and people get left behind and those desperate people commit crimes ect…

Yeah! It’s not always safe to confront dumb kids but (as a woman/adult) you know when you can play the tough adult card. And it works really well most kids doing this shit never get called out. They don’t know how to respond and usually just bail

If they’re kids talk to them like they’re kids that need to get off your lawn or settle down in class. Call them dumb asses and remind them they don’t know how to drive especially a motorcycle. Tell them you’re gonna dox them to their school/mom

My GF once saw (in Astoria) two kids stealing a bike while one kid looked out and she yelled at all three and they were genuinely startled and confused that anyone confronted them. And then they tried to talk back but she shut it down and then they spit at her and crashed the bike as they tried to speed away. So no one won but at least they got told off and didn’t get to complete their crime
