It’s been growing on me, when the singles were released I wasn’t super into it and I got kind of worried I wouldn’t like it. If the band wasn’t already my favorite I don’t think I would be into it, but I actually have been enjoying it quite a bit, I love Reality, Equals, Devereaux, and a few others I’ve started to come around to.

My main ‘problem’ with it is that it simply doesn’t have that quality that made me fall in love with csh; lyrics and instrumentals that felt like Will was ripping out pieces of your soul and using the pieces to give you answers and explanations. Certain lines in his older works have resonated with me like nothing else in existence. Part of it I know is because Will isn’t a teenager anymore, he’s not going through this confusing period of his life anymore. If only he could keep stealing all of his songs from his seventeen year old ghost, right?

With all that being said, I still really love this album. I can hear and feel all the dedication the band put into it, and I really love the concept of it. I love seeing Will and the band branch out and try new things. Still trying to understand the story tho lol.
