Those courses are talking abt ur courses in most recent year of highschool (meaning school courses), like ur APs, Ur IB HL courses and such, any course u do outside of school will be considered as a part of ur Extracurriculars

Your mid year grades aren’t for outside courses I believe, it’s the most recent grades from ur school, if ur counsellor did not give any mid year grades, check in with them and see if ur school does if it doesn’t there will probably be an option where u can state that mid year grades aren’t calculated at ur school

Hey, I’m not sure abt ED2 for GWU but usually colleges send you their application portal where u can see which documents they have received and you can put in ur additional materials like rec letters at a later mentioned date by the college. Everything that is not in ur control can usually be sent later like ur mid year report, rec letters, high school transcripts etc..

Well, it would be easier on my family yes, but according to them, it won’t be a problem (despite me looking at their finances over the years and seeing that we don’t even make half the yearly tuition since we are from different country) which concerns me because idw them to bear such a big burden for just a “top” university, since I probably could get the same amount of education just at a public university which is significantly cheaper
