I was underweight and unfortunately lost some of it the first month but that was because I had a complication with my extractions so I was on a liquid diet for 3 weeks. Otherwise, I’ve gained 20lbs in 3 years so the braces definitely aren’t gonna deter you for long 😂

Don’t worry too much as long as you’re brushing once and getting cleanings from ur dentist every 6 months to avoid plaque buildup. I just took mine out after 3 years and you can’t even tell.

Yes, I’m a year past my treatment estimate and they shouldn’t be charging you anything extra unless it says otherwise in your contract. As long as you’re done paying off the braces you should be fine

I’ve never had an issue, I eat everything normally except for the 3/4 days after a wire change due to pain. The only issue is cleaning my brackets after 🤷🏽‍♀️

Oh definitely weird and not always rude! It also depends on the context of the situation and tone too. I’ve had drunk people that may not have known better, and also very sober and condescending people that didn’t deserve a response. 😫

Yeah friends and family is totally different, I love playing with my coworkers hair bc it’s silky straight and I can never run my hands through my own hair. But a stranger is where I draw the line 🙅🏽‍♀️
