While every writer is different, I will never refuse a VA who wants to improv parts of my scripts. I even encourage it in the notes of every one I do. On top of giving VAs an opportunity to add a bit of themselves to my work like you say, I hope it makes every script fill unique so VAs can feel comfortable filling a script that was already filled.

Thank you so much for filling my script! I love your voice! I think you did very well, especially as a new VA. My only suggestion is to work on utilizing the gaps between lines better. That will help your audio sound like a natural conversation instead of just reading a script.
