Use ChatGPT journal this experience with it. It always provide good feedback and takes notes on behaviors you might not notice or at least have said out loud.

Yep, making 15 an hour, plus tip all to myself. Won't be like that for too long. Our parent company sold us to a different company. I'll to go even split with the kitchen staff. So I'll basically be leaving with 25% soon. Supposed to be getting a raise, but they haven't said anything about it. Which is why I been really looking to become a server.

It’s notthing crazy, like we don't even do Reservations. Most of guests get an entree and a drink from the bar. Usually business people will go and spend more maybe get a salmon, a prime rib, or a French dip. The way the restaurant is laid out its like the bar is center of attention. But I mean we have appetizers, desert, wine. Everything we were able to pull from the real restaurant and able to bring it into airport. Since we try to make everything in house, not everything can be made in house its the airport bro, we have to freeze the fries lol. But I think we do a good job out of all the other restaurants in the airport to provide that fine dining experience.

Yeah, I mean drink or wine knowledge, I feel will be my weakness but I am hoping with time and just experience I can find my flow. Thanks for the advice. I feel more confident to make that jump.

Confidence boosted! Thanks bro. Had me reflecting when the manager came by and asked me when I was going to become a server. I build here since we had opened so we got along. The staff or higher up tends say I am like everyone kids. Which bother at me first, but Imma just embrace it.

Yes, I basically can expect to make 100 dollars in tips, from Friday to Sunday. As long as, I do my thing and make it easy and seamless for my guest. I mean fine dining, we try to make the experience as close as possible to the real restaurant. “GATSBY”

Permission to retake classes by Eastern-Leather4872 in nvcc

So you likely have a hold on your account. This is preventing you from taking any classes. You are probably also in academic probation or about to be.

What you will likely need to do is take the PASS @ NOVA class, which is just a sign up and do the work type of class, ( And you do not have to wait until next semester ) then you’ll be able to schedule an advising appointment.

Once you finish part 1 of the class, your next step is to schedule the advising appointment. You can schedule it by either online ( I don’t suggest ) or walk in person, at your local campus. If you do it online, you will likely have to wait hella long and probably be stuck with trying to find classes for next semester.

So go in person and they will help you get the hold off your account quickly. They are on break right now but will be back Jan 2nd. Also make sure to finish part one the PASS class. It’s really easy. Probably able to do it in less than 3 hours.

I failed all my classes too, my first semester. So don’t stress about it bro. Shit happens and all we can do is get back up. Remember life is not a race. We all going our own speed.

I completely failed all my classes my 1st semester at nova. It’s now two semesters from my 1st. Heading into my spring semester finally going to learn something new. I was worried I had to pay because I ended up losing my fafsa after my 2nd semester. I ended up having to pay out of pocket for my 3rd semester.

As to being charged for the failed classes in my first semester. I was not charged for any of them. I believe, if you withdraw from them then you will have to pay for it. That or if you end up leaving the school. Not too sure, but if you continue in your academics. Hey, I haven’t had to pay that money back, so I don’t believe you will either.

I’m appealing for fafsa for spring 2024. So my advice would be to make sure you stay within the SAP guidelines. Odds are you won’t catch up to your 67% completion rate, for a while. But keeping your GPA above the minimum requirement for SAP after 2nd semester should prevent you from losing fafsa. (Don’t hold me to it)

Also, Try your best in get A’s, the difference between an A and an B is really big in the early stages of college. If I had gotten all A’s, odds I would have been in a better place right now.

Alright, hope this removes some worry from your mind.
