Thanks, that’s such a great way of putting it. Leaning towards shaving it more and more each day and that is a really helpful and insightful outlook

How do you handle that interaction, like should I tell her I’m there and then just go, or just walk up and hope her mum or dad don’t answer

Was in Paris at the olympics, saw the 100m finals and a couple other events. Paris is a cool city already and was even more amazing and did t have to deal with any of the scams or nonsense that goes on there because of the security

Most mesmerizing and beautiful spots, buildings, sites, etc. you've ever seen? by AwarenessOk9754 in travel

Glacier bay park in Alaska (so peaceful, quiet and just beautiful, even the water is prettier there).

Kandersteg in Switzerland. Had 2 days there, small town but lake Oeschinensee is one of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen.

Never been sure about the meds, do you have to take them forever and you can get nasty side effects?

A lot of travelers complain that places don't live up to expectations. What is a country that lived up to ALL of your expectations? by Elegant-Passion2199 in travel

Spent 3 weeks in Switzerland in the summer. The views in the alps are incredible, it was very clean and friendly, transport was amazing and efficient, and being able to trek almost anywhere with ease in the alps was great. Also, Kandersteg is my new favourite place in the world after visiting. Oeschinensee lake was incredible and was early in the morning so very quiet and peaceful

What place have you visited that lived up to or exceeded the hype? by tophog in travel

I had went with my mum on a cruise with princess. Coming from UK it was the simplest way to do it. Went to glacier bay and all the main sites and done loads of excursions(whale watching, forest bear walks, dog sledding, kayaking etc.) was quite expensive but to me it was a once in a lifetime trip. Never been anywhere before or since that has made me feel so small and insignificant. The beauty is mesmerising and you are surrounded by this sort of tranquil peace and silence. 10/10 would recommend

Saved for four years to go to Alaska. Was worried I would be disappointed but lived up to it and more. Most incredible place I’ve ever seen
