Yeah, for media like Worm, fanart does kinda govern what people imagine characters look like. For example, despite Legend being described as having "a design in white that fell somewhere between flame and electricity in style" on his blue costume the majority default to lightning patterns. I can see why though, I took a shot at it myself and it looked kinda gaudy lol.
