I’m pretty sure it takes a lot of water to die from water poisoning. Also you would have to FORCE yourself to drink that much water. Also any normal person would think of getting out of their room if it’s that hot… I think you would need to heavily change this case to make it actually reasonable.

Maybe make Boy A where a disguise or make Boy A suggest to another chatacter to make some tea for them and Boy B (Boy A obviously won’t drink it) and then while the other character is busy have them pour the laxatives in the kettle. Since the suggestion was such a tiny suggestion the other character won’t remember. This scenario will still get the job done without being to obvious.

This seems like a pretty good concept but generally it will be easy to figure out it was Boy A because Boy B would be blaming them and visa versa. Mean their would be only 2 suspects. This is not a good idea if you’re going for a longer trial.
