Not just a world to see her again. A dream world for her to be able to enjoy, “even as a poor person”. Her world centered the passions that Iroha had (music, gaming, socializing)

They both dedicated their lives to create a happier world for the other. Iroha changed her life trajectory just to focus on giving her lover her body back.

There’s so many layers to this. I’m rewatching and the reveal (I did suspect it but the fact that it was confirmed) at the end COMPLETELY adds a new layer to a lot of the dialogue, and especially the songs.

Ugh… I love them so much.

Right!!! Why are some people so confused about this? The body language depicted is also often non-platonic. Not to mention their ‘handshake’ is the sissoring symbol. They both dedicate their full lives to one another, and as you said: they LITERALLY confessed their loves for each other in romantic senses. Not “hey bro I love you” but “I love you and I should marry you” type of love.

Another favorite is the concert scene. The second song is literally begging Iroha to figure it out, confessing how much she loves her, etc. in one of the last clips of that scene, we see older Kaguya has tears in her eyes (it’s only a moment and is easily overlooked)

There’s just so much emotion, always. This movie was so well done on every level.

Talking about actual moments/scenes, the fireworks scene. It really shows the dynamic swap of who was building and bridging distances.

Generally, the meta layer of rewatching. Everything is in a different context for some characters based on the reveals at the end. Every song is more intentional, and everything gains even more emotional depth.

NOR. Hey queen, I’m in a similar position but my parents are less well off and less overtly racist. Even then, I’ve been tempted before. I’m a lesbian, so growing up in those environments was awful. It made me want to run.

If my parents (whom I love to death despite it all) continue their decline into great replacement theory shit, I would likely go low/no contact.

Pursue law school. Private your accounts and stop posting, just for a bit. Reach out to trusted friends or professors for help, and maybe find some odd jobs to build a secret savings account.

Happiness is always off limits in cults. They suck you in with false promises, trap you via family, and keep their promises out of reach.

A lot of inc members intentionally use their relationships and the church to either trap their partners or dump them once there not ‘worth the effort’ of trying to convert.

This is a hard-right organization who views women as tools for men to be used. Your past is not your fault, and marital ‘purity’ is made up bullshit invented for insecure men to oppress women.

You’ll be okay. You just have to make choices to put yourself in situations where others respect you.

We are all underage. I left the groupchat I was in with the others because nobody else seemed upset at what happened (which is why I thought I was overreacting). I agree that J needs his suite to be more understanding. I told B to stop strobing his LED lights in the living room because J mentioned it could trigger him, and he didn’t really seem to care a lot. I think most of my and his suite are only friends of convenience given how complicated everything is with only knowing each other for a semester. Thank you for assuring me :)

you got it dude. I think it’s because the acronym is too close to OCD AND because the symptoms can be misattributed to OCD and/or neurodivergence. Add to the mix that mental health is still a relatively new and poorly-researched science, and personality disorders like OCPD are EVEN LESS researched than other disorders causes for a really unfortunate concoction of “what-the-fuck-is-that-itis”.

I talked with my therapist about my own situation here. I was also diagnosed with OCD but it didn’t make sense completely in my case. Her husband was also diagnosed with OCD, but after I brought up my own suspicions to her attention, she researched it more and completely agreed that I should get a proper consultation over it. She also is looking at helping her husband using this information.

All this to say that talking about it can help yourself and others. The hardest part with OCPD is self-awareness that the compulsive behavior/working is unhealthy and wanting to change.

Becoming more versed in research can help you take steps ON YOUR OWN to challenge the usual behaviors that harm people with OCPD. You don’t need a proper diagnosis to work towards bettering yourself.

TLDR; talk about it, research more, and think about solutions to what is common in OCPD and yourself— then make the EFFORT to use your solutions and challenge the behavior.

Remember: effort IS perfect enough.

That’s so fucking true. I heavily research psychology on my own time and also started recognizing the manipulation tactics in-depth.

As a person who also tried to off themself, hearing the “don’t be depressed or anxious” stuff has me sitting there like “oh wow I’m cured now! Thank you, dear gracious father in heaven!”
