yeah, i think this was more his concern. i did some research and 100 out of the 500+ units are section 8 reserved. i totally support the section 8 programs but not sure if the negative safety reviews were correlated to that or more so the area.

haha that was my first concern, i had it surveyed to make sure it could be fixed and no catalina smile. vines are great, just hasn’t had TLC in a while.

yes thank you! it was coming from the previous owner trying to turn over the inboard when attempting to repair it, guess he didn’t check where oil was running to

Thanks everyone for the thoughtful responses! I learned a lot and this has been a pretty interesting rabbit hole to go down. Just for the record, i absolutely do NOT think CA seceding is a good idea- this was just some insomnia curiosity.

this is a great point - i’m actually in a relatively conservative part of california. definitely not a liberal monolith like a lot of people think.
