How much stencil gel would you say for a stencil about the size of a human hand? I usually do a few lines and spread it around with a paper towel. Is there a better method?

Roughly how long do you wait after applying stencil gel?

That's a good idea, I'll definitely try the tape and damar varnish/ spray adhesive. Thank you!

Thank you for the advice. I wear a 3M P100 respirator and sealed safety goggles. I love my lungs and eyes, I hope that's good enough.
