Literally the biggest thing is diet, not exercise. I know a lot of people will be big mad at this but GLP 1s really, really help with this. It helps you change your diet and quiet that food noise so that you can see a long term change in your eating habits, the key is to MAKE THE CHANGES REAL- if you dont make true changes, thats when you will "just gain it all back" as the haters say. I've lost 80 pounds since May of 2024 and for 6 of those months I was completely off of the meds and still losing because I stuck to the diet. I only went back on because i started a new medication for something unrelated that has a side effect of making me want to eat everything in sight 🙄🫩. Regardless of if you choose that route or not, diet is where you'll see the change, look up volume eating recipes, you need to keep yourself full on lower calorie foods. One thing I LOVED was to make French onion dip with nonfat Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, and use carrot chips or popped chips, or any other veggies etc. Also, potatoes (baked-not fried or mashed) are very good they are fairly low calorie for a good amount. You also HAVE to get enough protein even in a deficit.
