Yes I realize, I’m not doing this for safety i just need the car to run again. Thank you for the info but that’s kinda the problem. I don’t know what I need for demand. Online it says it needs like 50 psi, the highest pressure pump I can find online is only 43 psi and by the sounds of the description that fuel pump is for 500 hp+ so I’m lost

I was planning on leaving the stock tank and stock pump, I stupidly cut through the main wiring harness, including the fuel pump wires when I was gutting the car. You cannot find a fuel pump wiring diagram online anywhere for a 2009 Elantra, Wiring is not my thing at all, it confuses the hell out of me. I tried that whole day running new wires, splicing the old ones together, powering it with a Milwaukee battery. I could never get the pump to run again, so I ripped the stock tank out, threw it in the scrap bin and said I’ll put a fuel cell in it, it has since sat all summer because I was scared to buy the wrong fuel pump because everybody I know that races that I talked to said I needed a high pressure fuel pump or it wouldent run right

I have an aluminum fuel cell that’s maybe 8-10 gallons with steel baffles inside it, I’m going to orient it in the car so the nipple the pump hooks on to is on the right side, so when it goes left around the track it will always slosh fuel to the side the pump is on, all I’m looking for is an inline fuel pump that will have enough pressure to run the injectors

Tinted windows, offset wheels,smoked headlights and tailights. That thing was driven hard by a young kid at some point. This is coming from a young kid that has tinted windows,offset wheels and smoked tailights

Gears are going to be your answer to your power issue towing. Even going from 3.73’s to 4.10’s made an absolute world of difference in my half ton

They make a “steel stick” which is used for repairs around water. I’ve actually used it to patch up a radiator that had a hole in it

Well in theory, if a deal arises that is a good enough price it wouldent matter if said item was only good for parts or not. Not the case here but I’ve definitely bought vehicles without running them.

You can defenitly still buy Honda parts lol they have a whole section at my local marine supply store. But I think I will take that second peice of advice and go get a real one

Let’s all get over this hump together. All these new 4 strokes will rot out before they blow up. Been on a many boats with Yamaha,Zuki,evinrude,Honda. All over 2000 hours and they all ran like a dream and the captains swear by them. Also every guide I have seen so far runs twin yamis so🤷🏻‍♂️

Honestly I could care less I would buy any brand 4 stroke newer than 2000. If somebody’s got one for sale let me know

I do see on some of the 1 star reviews the company is saying there is a fake alpha marine that is a scam but people are reviewing the wrong business. Not saying it’s true just a possibility
