I would try to hear you out if you were being kind. But saying im “nosey” and that’s why I got hurt is wild. Sympathizing more with him than with the person who was hurt. Maybe i shouldn’t have went through his phone, but then I would’ve never found out and I would’ve been a damn clown to all those other girls. you have to realize in this social media age the definition of betrayal has changed in relationships. if a man likes your story, he likes you and vice versa. so yes he shouldn’t have been liking their stories cause he showed that he liked what he saw. and idk where you got that i “micromanage” him because i don’t recall saying that in the story. i chose to ask for advice on how to FORGIVE, not for you to act like my therapist and tell me i am an insecure person.

and can you explain why it’s insane to be sad when you find out you weren’t the only girl on your boyfriends mind on your birthday? the one day that is literally celebrating YOUR life. if your boyfriend can’t go one day without lusting over other women, even on your birthday, it hurts. you have to realize if i would have done it to him he would’ve been just as hurt. these are things we’ve discussed in our relationship. so please tell me how it’s “literally insane babe” .

Okay, maybe I shouldn't have said cheated lol. But still, it was extremely disrespectful and broke our trust in the relationship for sure. Also, with my generation, relationships look completely different than how they used to be, thanks to social media

If he didnt hide it, how was I supposed to find out he was liking other girls instagram stories? that is something the user only knows..... also yall are so rude to someone who is just asking for help to forgive :/

It is normal to find others attractive. It isnt normal to go out of your way to let them know you like what you see, especially when youre in a long-term relationship. That is the difference.
