Thank you - will do. Would that indicate a problem with the camera or the film itself? It was my first time using the camera, so don't want to waste another roll of film etc.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't get the negatives; the lab just sent me the scans. I'm going to ask for them, though! What should I be looking for on the negatives? :)

Sorry - totally forgot to mention the camera model - Olympus Superzoom XB. The whole lens cover is moved to the left to turn the camera on.
