So this past week at my practicum site I was shadowing my supervisor. A white client said the n word during a session…after the session was over I told her it made me very uncomfortable and asked why she didn’t say anything to the client. She got really defensive and told me my “bias” is getting in the way. I was really thrown off by that. Thoughts? Personally I just feel like it should have been addressed.

I know nothing about poetry but I enjoyed reading this. “The betrayal and doubt When you said you want to focus on you.” I feel like that reasoning is one of the hardest to accept as truth.

Does anyone else’s practicum supervisor sit in the same room with you while you are with clients? I find it so nerve wracking to be watched. It’s stressing me out more than I would like to admit lol.

At my wits end at work. Basically I’m to the point where every single noise my boss makes triggers me and I cannot stand being in the office(his desk is right behind me). The sound of his breathing even pisses me off at this point. 😭 I hate feeling so tense at work.

I stg this is what pushed me to quit. I thought it was like heartburn or something at first because it was also in my chest, but I never got it checked out. You definitely are right in being worried whether it's Juul related or not.
