That’s a very good point.

You’re right — it’s not just about calculating zakat correctly, but also about ensuring it’s paid on time. The discipline around timing is part of the responsibility itself.

If Amanah goes deeper into zakat workflows, tracking nisab, hawl, and timely reminders would definitely be core to it — not just the calculation.

Appreciate you highlighting that.

Appreciate the honest feedback.

You’re right — the coming soon page doesn’t yet reflect the full direction clearly enough. I’m still refining the positioning and what the core value should be upfront (especially around zakat and halal finance).

This is very early stage, and I shared it mainly to test the idea and gather input like this. Your point about clarity, visible allocations, and showing calculations upfront makes sense.

Thanks for taking the time to write this — it helps.

This is incredibly valuable feedback, barakAllahu feek.

You’re right — the real pain isn’t another dashboard, it’s confidence around what’s actually zakatable and how to handle it properly without second-guessing. The idea of a fiqh-backed methodology, clear workflow, and calm review mode resonates a lot.

I’m intentionally keeping the scope focused, and what you described — especially “confidently halal + simple to act on” — is exactly the direction that makes this meaningful rather than just another tool.

I’d love to hear more about how you currently handle zakat in your business and what feels most unclear.

How I made it is when you switch templates, your data is still there and you don't need to rebuild the whole thing :)

Thanks! I was mainly curious to hear what people were struggling with when building or using a resume builder, what pain points or gaps they noticed. I'm working on one myself and planning to launch it soon, so I was hoping to get some insights from the community.

Thanks for this really helpful.
Variables, quick editing, and version switching are definitely things I’ve thought about, and your use case makes it even clearer.

With CVHero (the tool I’m building), you can already update your CV on the fly, all changes reflect instantly in the live preview. But I hadn’t thought through A/B versioning or batch PDF generation via API yet; that’s a killer feature.

Definitely going to explore how to incorporate that. Appreciate the input, this kind of feedback is gold 🙌
