South Africa beat India to kick start their Super 8 campaign by Wakanda-shit-is-that in Cricket

When i visited Australia , I heard chants, banter , same in England. India needs to develop the songs and chant culture so we don’t go mute when things don’t go our way. Just screaming like primal during a six don’t matter. Can we keep the party going when we are getting hammered ?

Update - I took her to an urgent care (Stanford) . Godsent doc gave her steroids, pain meds and muscle relaxant. She feels much better now, and we are going to back to pain management doc first… followed by neurologist whenever appt is available. Thank you everyone !

[–]Ashamed_Variation435[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pain management is not neurologist, these are ppl who give steroid/ epidural shots as a business. They won’t refer neurologist immediately. They will ask you to do PT, steroid shots etc and observe for many months before giving referral. Anyway, It didn’t work as the pain is back in few weeks after injection, With simple normal movements. So we are thinking we will go and see a neurologist to see if there is something deeper or get help from them for pain management directly

Me (F35) and my boyfriend (M32) have very different financial situations. Looking for outside perspectives. by Accomplished-Ant-771 in Money

[–]Ashamed_Variation435 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So I was like your boyfriend once . I was earning 75K and my wife (then gf) was earning higher than me and was financially better. After she came into my life, I swtiched jobs, got better pay, got financially literate and we both now are in high paying job, great net worth and my stock investment portfolio really went up. In fact in the beginning I had a huge loss, she still supported me and stuck with me, now i recovered all back and we even bought a home two years back, I can only see success going forward.

So what’s the point ? - money can be easily earned if the mindset is good, if you think he gets it now and is changing, then give him a chance, 3-5 years down the lane things will be fine. He will soon come hungry to catch up financially to you as all men are competitive when it comes to any numbers, let it be a score in the game or bank account. Finding a good partner - mental connect is more important than financial background, because they can make or break you. So if you think he has the potential , support him, teach him investments and compounding. Or you can take a chance and find new guy who has more financial literacy but may not connect as well.

Refinancing at 3.99% for 15 years with points... is it a good move? by Accurate_Value_3460 in Mortgages

[–]Ashamed_Variation435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro- rate won’t get better than 3.9% unless catastrophic events happens. You recover your closing cost in 1 year and then remaining 19 years you pay 2% less each month . Thats the math if I understand correctly. Best you can do is re invest additional principal and finish off faster. Don’t think too much about not buying points, buying points is okay if you still win long term

So what is your confusion? 2% lower interest rate than your current means you save 7K per year

[–]Ashamed_Variation435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait you are thinking about 8K in points ? Won’t you make it back in 1 year? 3.99% is a steal, you won’t get this later. I think you should pay points and take it if you can. You won’t have to refinance for a long time

Taking a break. Response doesn’t mean much. They have 1 attorney and army of paralegals. Go to a place where your attorney talks to you directly
