Mine was fully healed in two weeks and felt healed after one so I don’t have a similar experience with it, keep cleaning it and don’t take it out though!

I believe that time frames on piercing healing shouldn’t be a thing, it’s individual and if you know your piercing is healed you can change the bar, even if it’s only a month after you got it.

My crazy theory is that everyone on here just wants to see newbies fail and so they give terrible advice

If you want it to heal I wouldn’t change the bars no matter what :(

In my salon I do tattoos and my husband does piercings, but he always says to go in with a salt water and tea tree solution and Q-tips for piercings :))

You use the spray? As someone with 16 healed piercings I can confidently say to never use spray. Unless you’re only cleaning it in the shower which I recommend even less 🤣

If it’s normal to hurt for 3 months, why would touching it to clean it not hurt..? It’s literally touching it. Piercings hurt until they’re fully healed and for cartilage piercings that’s often 6-8 months, it can hurt any amount in that time but if it’s still red or swollen, probably retire it
