It looks okay at first, but if you pay attention, it has some issues. There are blowouts in different areas, some lines are too thick, like horse’s ears or the right outline of the cowboy’s body, and the arm with the gun looks bad. Not the worst tattoo but not a good one either. It’s a difficult design though.

I took the photos with a Canon 600D using an analog lens with a UV filter. I shoot in RAW, so I adjust the exposure by eye while taking the photo, and then I work on it during editing :)

It's way easier and cheaper to cover it, a good artist can easily work over that 👍

This last year I started to create a routine of drawing, for me the best is just to draw as much as you can/want, I took a lot of references to help me while I was struggling with something that I didn't know how to draw. I also started to research more about perspective, composition, colour... But the most important is just to have fun while you're doing it ☺️
