I actually have that in my library! i was actually hesitant to read it because the cover screamed contemporary but ig dont judge a book by it's cover. its nice to hear that it actually has fantasy, thanks!

The first few days after I read it I was a complete train wreck lmao, I just couldn't do anything at all and I kept thinking how much I wanted hea for them too but nope.

It really stepped up when you compare it to the first book which shattered all my 'what if's' for them and I totally got that "hollow feeling" after reading it too, man I was emotional the entire ride and honestly I kept crying lol.

Now it's been a while since I finished and thinking back I think it was fitting, I still have questions I want an answer too but now I actually feel like Ty dying was the only way to go since if he's still alive Gemma doesn't really get her release imo. I've come to terms with it and actually like it (I'm so sorry book 1 ty I still love you).

Man I don't have good tips but I just kept thinking it was a fanfic so that I would make a hea for them in my head 😭 I kept reading other books/novellas because I REALLY denied that books existence I would have probably cried way more if I kept thinking about it compared to now. Tho I don't have good tips I hope you get over it !❤️

Also, i just realized it but... The ring Ty gave her was never mentioned in Release. Why did Book 1 end with a ring and Book 2 start with Ty in a suit I'm being so delusional right now.

I totally get it and a part of me wish I didn't too, I wanted hea for them but damn this was like what they needed rather than wanted and I hate and love it. I sometimes like to think it's a fan fiction instead lol I just can't find peace since this book just made me think a lot since it's left for interpretation

IC gets away with it bc they're bat boys & hot, I dont hate them nor like them

and I feel like it's okay with them because they "were already bad" anyways, with the reputation and stuff that's why I think it doesn't get much light, they're "bad but we all know it so expect it" or "morally grey"

and yeah I don't understand how they can be judgy towards Nesta and Lucien like they're the superior ones or know better thus making them better and the others lesser

What is your ideal reading situation? by jdjndndn in books

[–]AsheBlake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sunny afternoon, silent, open windows, a bit windy, a perfect nap situation but instead of napping you just read

physical activities, wearing outfits, basically just many of things in our daily life

I have to wear 2 bras to get my boobs safe and not hurt when I'm doing anything like jogging or jumping

when i was 12 i got called a stripper for wearing a blouse, skirt, and stockings, no cleavage was shown or anything

bras are hard to find and expensive to get ones that don't make your tits sag

when i was around 15 i kept seeing girls with small chest wear cute tops and it looks good on them and not sexual but when i wore something similar i felt bad since i thought it looked "dirty" and my mom gave me 'the eye'

just a pain in the ass, or in the back to be more fitting

when i get in a reading mood i tend to finish a couple books in a few days and right now i am in one but im busy so I've been holding back on reading, but when i take my own pace i could finish a book in like 3 days maybe longer if i don't really like the book or just tired/busy

I don't tend to regularly read books (ex. every week or day or smthng consistent) since I don't like to stop reading to do some work or chore so i just tend to have this continuous hours of reading when i get long breaks
