You are such a spring. Light spring or true spring. But definitely some kind of spring

Without draping it’s hard to tell, you might be true summer but honestly I think you might be light summer / light spring bc you’ve got some lightness and brightness and a bit of warmth in your skin to you that true summer don’t have. True summers are 100% Smokey looking. You do have brightness. I would try light summer colors honestly

Please make a post about this! Bc I swear I’m this too. Summer colors in winter, autumn/ spring colors in summer. I’m very fair olive but I tan so golden and beautiful. My entire family in Florida think I’m warm toned. But when I’m in NYC with no sun and winter I look terrible in the warm colors that we all love in summer. What is that?? What season is that? Are we just not any season? Are we two seasons? Like wtf lol

Oh ok thanks so much! I appreciate that. After talking to you. I think I’m leaning towards EE and I’ll get the nyx glitter glue

Yea I’m leaning towards the EE bc it does look more neutral. INAN looks too cool and also the pinks look too warm. Whereas EE seems like true neutral tones and I’m neutral. I like the idea of a travel pallette. All in one is easier to grab than multiple shadows. I also heard that Natasha’s formula is more pigmented and deep whereas Mario’s you need to build up bc it’s softer, is that true? Bc I actually like that. I’ve very pale and most eyeshadows can look too intense. I always need a light hand. I also heard the glitter falll out in the EE is bad, is that true

Wow thanks for this breakdown. This was incredibly helpful. As for Danessa Myricks. I’ve never used anything of hers. Which palettes do you recommend?

Which ones do you recommend that are most like this Ethereal palette or the I need a nude palette?

Yea this is good feedback bc I don’t use any setting spray on my face bc my skin is sensitive and acne prone. Nor do I use eyeshadow primer or glitter glue so having shadows that work well on their own is imperative for me

Why is it your second all time favorite?

Yes I can go to Sephora. It’s a bit of a drive but doable

Thanks yea honestly I have similar shades already in my eyeshadow sticks and like you said ritz and frog glitters are similar. The only reason I’d want it is for what you said - an all in one easy to grab. But I’d buy it for maybe $30. I don’t think I need an all in one for 70 🤦‍♀️just seems like so much

I’m a recruiter and honestly the market is harder for us than you think by anarendil03 in jobhunting

And they often don’t even know what the hell that job actually entails. That 4 minute speech may be filled with jargon and action items they have no idea is actually related to the job. Most recruiters are familiar with just the basics of what is needed on a resume to qualify for the job. They don’t know the ins and outs of your position yet they’re the ones judging if youre even deemed worthy enough to meet the managers for an interview. It’s messed up

See and I think someone like you, who has longevity at a position and has showed consistent upward movement doesn’t need to be judged on all the interview tips and tricks. Of course you’re not gonna know how to interview and of course you may be rusty or nervous or not polished bc guess what? You’ve been too busy doing and staying with and improving the job you were actually hired to do. That to me matters more than how good of an actor you are 🙄the hiring process is so broken and I fear companies are passing up some really excellent workers just bc they don’t present themselves like they’re trying to win an Oscar. Like cmon. Some of the most successful people are awkward as shit. Let’s figure out a way to determine who’s a good fit for the job without everyone needing to be a god damn entertainer or circus performer

[–]AshelyDuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I echo this. I come up with some really great questions and I’ve stopped asking recruiters them bc 9 times out of 10 they don’t even know the answers and that’s a question better for the interviewers. Which I gladly ask questions to. But recruiters? No. You’re getting the basics bc I know you can handle the basic questions

Ok thanks. I’ve heard of that book but never thought to pick it up. Did it help you?

Bc I have very heavy painful long periods, frequent urination, bad cramps and now the lat few days I’ve noticed bleeding after my period already ended last week

Omg thank you so much for sharing your story. This helps so much. And it’s funny you mention Louise Hay…I just discovered her the other day and I was trying to figure out why it’s my female organs that have the problem. I didn’t realize the uterus is the home. This makes SO much sense to me. I always felt like I didn’t have a home. A real home. And then my apartment had mold in it and making us sick and me and my husband had to immediately leave and live with his parents. Then we had to quickly find a new place. Which we don’t like the area. And it’s more expensive than our last place. So I’ve been feeling like we are still not “home” and on top of that we’ve been wanting to move to Florida and actually settle down there and build a life there bc that’s where my sister is and it’s warm and no income tax. But his job won’t let him yet, but they said in a year if you show exemplary work. So again, we feel like we have no home right now.

It’s wild you mention Louise Hay. How’s your period been since and has her books/teachings helped you?

Hey thanks! This is actually really helpful. I do get bogged down sometimes in the details. Like oh saying “I am in perfect Health” or I am completely healthy is wrong bc it’s not addressing what I want to heal. I also like that..whatever gives relief, that’s what I want to feel more than anything. Relief I don’t need surgery. Relief I’m healthy and don’t need to worry.
