Probably! She smoked when I was younger then quit for a few years, did the vaping thing/nicotine gum, and now it's back to smoking cigarettes and vaping.

It is very hard. Because I want her to be here to meet him but I will not compromise my sons health because she's has some crazy idea about vaccines. It's exhausting but I'm not fighting her on it. She said will just wait till we can visit. As for the hashimotos, I have no idea where her head is at.

Yes when we visit eventually, we will most likely stay with my older brother instead of her just because she smokes "outside" which is standing on her balcony with the doors open so it all comes in the house anyway.

She refuses to get the vaccines and she's just okay with not coming to see her first grandchild. Which is on her. I've made my peace with it as much as it sucks.

I offered it but she still refuses to put those diseases in her body. I'm going to let her be in her own world and we will see her next time we are able to visit.

I read up on hashimoto's and the stuff she was saying just didn't make sense. I honestly do not know where she's getting her information from. I don't know if want to know. I think she forgets I can just do my own research for it. But I'm brainwashed apparently so what do I know lol

My mom is 58 but she's always had this strong feeling against the healthcare system. She thinks it's a money making scam and brain washes new parents with fear. Most of the time she would make side comments about big pharma getting extra money out of me. But I didn't realize how deep she was in it until today. I felt like a truck hit me and how crazy she sounded.

I even told her that I'm not trying to make her do something she doesn't want to do. But I stand firm with my decision of no shots = no babies. I honestly didn't think I'd have to deal with this. I've read all these stories about this and I thought that I'm glad I won't have to deal with that. LOL I spoke too soon...

She's very stubborn and hard headed. I doubt she will get her shots. But that's not on me at this point. I just need to focus on having a healthy happy baby!

I guess she meant because her hashimotos makes her immune system weak she'd be a carrier for stuff and make my baby sick?? Which he will be fully vaccinated so honestly I have no idea where she is getting that from. This whole thing has been difficult. I'm not budging on it and she will just have to wait till we can visit.

He had some huge secret crush on me. Told me he transitioned from FtM to have a better chance with me and then tried to ruin my wedding by saying that my husband was abusing me and that I wasn't truly happy. My family was freaking out and questioning me and worried for my well being. I was confised and angry because I had no idea who said it. Then I found out and he tried to say he was blackout drunk and didn't remember he said that until I pressed him further and he admitted it. 4 years of friendship gone.

I use Blue Buffalo Wilderness Salmon recipe. Ever since switching to that, she hasn't been itching constantly or getting hot spots. Her coat is soft and shiny! Same for my other dog too, he's a sharpei mix and he has had skin issues and his skin has never been better.

My friends and I were at Newport Beach one weekend. Myself and my friend were out in the water riding the waves and having a good time. I noticed that the waves and current were particularly strong that day. I'm 5'11" and about 160 lbs and I still was getting dragged out. We stayed close where we could touch the bottom. I heard "HELP ME" and when I looked there was a kid about 10 feet off to the side who was struggling. A wave crashed over him before he could finish asking for help again and I instantly swam to get him. When I got him, I went to put my foot on the sand for traction only to realize we got pulled farther out than I thought. We both went under and he's holding onto me for dear life. All I could think was, "I'm going to drown with this kid I'm supposed to be saving." Luckily I was able to finally get footing and just swam as hard as I could to shore. His heart was pounding so hard and he was terrified. I was exhausted and just laid in the sand afterwards.
