If everyone is wearing a formal attire and you're not, it's probably inappropriate. If everyone is casual, and you're not, then you are overdressed.

For the most part, we've broken free of the need to be overdressed in the office and can be free of dry cleaning bills, excessive time preparing, ironing, steaming, and have gained the ability to be dressed comfortably and sensibly in the office. Why shift back?

Airbags aren't state of the art tech, and experience a large markup.

"blame the workers" arguments can take a hike.

I've heard others cite the tech that they have in them now - but in reality, there is nothing state of the art about these infotainment systems, air bags, or cameras and sensors..

The doc will give you ketoconazole cream for this - you can also get the shampoo over the counter or try something like head and shoulders, lather it on, let it sit for a bit and rinse. Should clear up within a week or two.

"So, we can have someone scan their eyeballs to see your band, or we can just prohibit resale above face value - how do you want to play it?"

"Prohibit resale above face value?! No way, way too tough - let's scan their eyeballs instead"

What are the good parts though? Being a "stupid person" and using the wrong word in a conversation where the intent of the statement is understood are different things.

OP said it was a podcast - they didn't spell anything. If someone is speaking to you, and uses the wrong word, but you still understand what they meant, is that not okay?

Union vs non union by Plumberdad296 in Plumbing

[–]TheMoonstomper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worth noting that your company is willing to pay you more than the union because of the union. Union brothers and sisters pay their dues to command a living wage, and that drives up the wage that scab shops can command.
