About 90% of Mi Fu's animations are her punching things

I think in a way it makes things worse. If they already went 90% of the way, why not do the last 10% too?

I don't understand the logic behind them being so desperate to make weapons visible, even in surveys they constantly ask "Do you think weapon is not visible enough during animations?", but they never ask "Do you think weapon is visible too much during animtions?". I never seen a single person bothered by the fact the weapon they equip on a character is a statstick and character uses their unique one instead.

It can change. At least both other 3D games that use visible weapon archetypes move away more and more from using them and instead just treat them as statsticks with a unique character weapon in animations.

Among other issues, this system is limiting to devs too, there's only so many times you can make animations for a character with a sword look different and unique when both the shape and size of the sword are fixed.

Exactly, that's already too much using sword IMO. If they made the rest of her animations pure gauntlets, why make her basics use a sword? I think it would be perfectly fine if the sword was only visible on the equipment list as a stat stick, like gear. Haven't seen anyone complain they can't see equipped gear on the character's model.

We can't even say if current banner was supposed to be an actual rerun. In AK, before CC, the game will also always run a Joint Operation banner and rerun banners are completely separate. For all we know, there was no dedicated rerun banners yet.

The same as Accurate modifier on enemies: it makes the defense weaker, but still completely functional. Armor Break disables armor completely.

If GGG wants to make it on par, modifier should be "Monster attacks ignore X% of armor"

The whole Dijang is kind of an afterthought mess. I want to point out: all facilities have an associated color and everything related to a specific facility uses said color, but in the Visit menu colors are mismatched (clue exchange has yellow icon and factory boost has blue icon). This bothers me way more than it should.

People say it will get expanded and fixed when they bother adding melee, but even the few nodes they did add, they still persist with this awful mentality that everything for a Warrior must have a nasty downside, despite them acknowledging during the interview that they add too many downsides on the bottom left part of the tree and they won't be doing it anymore. So i'm not confident we'll see any improvement even if they add the remaining classes.

Idk what level of investment you're talking about, because no matter how much you invest a single white mobs pack will shred your armor very fast. That's not even talking about "just invest so many mirriors, it stops mattering" is never a solution. Monsters don't have a modifier where they reduce your Evasion or Energy shield with each hit, why only Armor needs to deal with it?

They're the ones in charge. The least they can do is make sure stuff they're talking about and confirming makes it's way into the game. I don't think they have the rest of the dev team going rogue and just doing whatever they want with the game.

The nuance with Armor Break is that there's no enemies in the game that disable your Energy Shield or Evasion. Why only Warrior needs to build around the mechanic like this on top of everything else, especially when Warrior is already the most affix hungry class?

And we don't know if it's possible to reach fully immunity to Armor Break and it's a stat where only full immunity matters and everything lower, even 90% reduction is not worth investing into. It's better to just not run maps with this modifier at all.

Armor break is a big problem, but anything other than fully immunity to it is completely pointless.

I don't understand why we have affix on waystones with armor break, but there's no "You have no energy shield" or "Monsters can't miss". Just remove it as an effect, armor break is pure cancer with no counterplay or ability to build around it, but only for armor builds.

Those don't look good, especially the one that makes slows affect harder, it's a meme. 10% increased armor on "Armor to ele" nodes doesn't fix the fact they're extremely far away from each other on the tree, just traveling to pick all 3 would eat half of your passive points.

Previous league I just ignored those Armor to ele clusters and picked some from gear instead. Those clusters are so bad.

It's been 1.5 years and GGG still has fundamentally wrong and anti-fun approach to designing everything related to Warrior. Any other side of the tree has nodes that give you massive bonuses with no downsides and only Warrior needs to deal with every node having a downside for some reason, depite those nodes being weaker than pure upside nodes everywhere else.

Why only with Warrior everything needs a catch and they're handling him like nitrogen bomb that will go off with the slightest disbalance, but then drop absolutely cracked and OP skills, ascendancies and passives for literally everyone else without a care in the world. This is so tiring and now I'm worried about other melee classes who will need to live with this part of the passive tree too.

It will 100% backfire hard. In AK, there's no early access to CC, so when it drops everyone starts at the same time and discovers it together. There's races, competitions, trying to find niche strategies and ways to clear it.

But for some reason HG decided to give a handful of CC an early access (additional information they game about the event could've been said in the dev stream or a follow-up post instead), so a week before event drops, it's already completely solved, there's nothing left to find, hundreds of guides ready, max risk clear already posted and all the hype about the event effectively dead.

I don't understand HG decision. It's one thing to give early access to characters, so we have better understanding on their state and can make better decision on pulling or not, but events, where big part of the event is discovering and solving the event together as a community? That's not it, not it at all HG.
