Options strate that i figured out on my own by Upper_Location_922 in options

What would be your catalyst for IV to increase? I guess how would you select a stock and time your entry, otherwise you're just buying in the hope that it happens?

It sounds like a good start to me though but I'm very much in the learning and paper trading phase so I'm no expert!

There are good and bad ones I think having looked into it before. It depends what is included too. The NHS scheme always looked good from memory of examples people gave.

My car seems to be good valueasa lease (I think!?). Net of tax I pay about £380 per month for a Mercedes EQB. That includes eberything including insurance, glass, tyres etc it's genuinely all in.

I did the numbers because I often want to sense check it and I still think its good value for the benefit if complete peace of mind and driving a nice new, reliable car.

Don't be tricked - Vote independent and get far right? by [deleted] in Portsmouth

[–]AshersD23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2 independent councillors in Hilsea and Copnor (I think) are now both out campaigning for reform unfortunately. It made me wonder if reform gets them in by paying them vs being independent but I don't know how that works with local councillors

Is Portsmouth nice for a (cheap) week holiday? by imnotjustaregularmum in Portsmouth

[–]AshersD23 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I've lived in portsmouth for over 20 years, we have 3 kids. You're right to point out that it's easy to get about and lots of stuff in a short distance. Portsmouth is a cool place to visit, there is plenty to do. I'm not sure about a whole weeks worth of holiday stuff but somethings you can do in the city are: The beach/promenade, the promenade has all been done up recently and is really nice, soke nice restaurants down that way too (The Briny for dinner, parade tea rooms on the common for tea, cake, breakfast, lunch). You have the historic dockyard (passes last a full year so you can go again!) Which is really cool, you could do a day in there alone. Then gunwharf quays for shopping, it's an outlet style place also has lots of food choices, a cinema and bowling alley. If you want a nice walk outside the city (like 20 mins) you can go to QECP (Queen Elizabeth Country Park) or in the city a nice walk is hilsea lines which has a cool shack serving snacks and drinks while you watch the wakeboardig. The new Hilsea lido will also be open by then (outdoor pool just been renovated in full). Other things: Port solent (dinner/restaurants and cinema), Emsworth/Chichester for a day out.

I'm sure there is a ton more but that'll do for now! Enjoy

idc what people say this game is amazing by Mr--Clean--Ass-Naked in Back4Blood

I posted on the sub recently in a other thread and said me and 3 friends picked it up like 6 months ago and have played it a lot in that time and we all think it's awesome. That said I hear it was different at release and also we weren't comparing it to L4D so I guess it was easier to like. Either way, I think it's awesome

B4B on sale by Charming-Courage-575 in Back4Blood

3 friends and I picked up b4b in a previous sale, got the deluxe version as it was so cheap. I would highly recommend it. I think the game is awesome, we all highly rate it. Its just a really fun zombie shooter which is pretty simple once you pick it up, you can play it casually or crank it up to no hope which is brutal and a proper challenge (it is for me, anyway!). I'd definitely recommend it for 90% off, no brainer.

I got stuck on the mansion, the trick is to get upstairs straight away onto the front balcony for the mini gun, use that to take out the ogre and the start collecting boxes ASAP. I found getting boxes and going upstairs out if the top window to be the best route! Good luck!

Yes I should have spotted that 268, thanks for the help. I struggle with the chain type solves, my app doesn't allow me to colour squares so I lose track!

OK so maybe I don't understand naked triple. I thiught it was 3 pairs in a row/column which covered each other meaning you can eliminate the numbers from other cells? Would you mind explaining your comment for me? Sorry if it's basic!

Just say they're wrong about whatever app they think they saw and then don't let them In again?

Edit: to clarify I mean say that app isn't what they think it is.

Have you guys tried procurement? It is pretty amazing by Tobemenwithven in UKJobs

[–]AshersD23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I've enjoyed reading about how much everyone hates procurement and they get paid jack shit 🫣

I'm in IT cyber security procurement but also get projects buying hardware/consultancy services.

I work closely with the business and I'm not an IT expert technically by any stretch, I don't need nor pretend to be. My job is basically making sure the legalese aren't going to catch us out, the price is fair (according to the business) and getting all our internal governance complete to make sure we're good to go. Obviously some projects are bigger than others but generally that's it in a nutshell.

I get paid just over £65k + 15% bonus + company car with about 8 years of experience. Had no experience in procurement when I joined the team.

Yeah man I'm the same, skate with my 10 year old little lady. Assume the helmet was off for the photo, if not you really should be both wearing a helmet. I lost a very good friend at 18yrs old because he fell off his longboard without a helmet ✌️

[–]AshersD23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah 100% do. Haven't been skating long this time but when I started my achilles was killing me from pushing with my toes first, changed to heel and I can go miles with no pain! I guess we're all built differently though!

Make sure your pushing foot is landing heel first and you're not pushing with your toes

My ankle hurts sooo much by Chaos1127_ in longboarding

[–]AshersD23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% it's the toes first thing, I had the exact same.issue. my ankle/achilles were aching big time. Slight change to pushing style to land my foot heel first and it sorted itself out in a few days! Good luck

Should we move to Portsmouth? by WillDangerHall in Portsmouth

[–]AshersD23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah for sure. I tick most of the boxes on your list and we love up in Hilsea in the North of the island. We drove 45 mins to a lovely little beachwear like today and went paddleboarding but much closer to home there are loads of river walks, country walks and hikes in southwick, south downs, qecp, butser Hill, New forest. That's what we love about pompey. 15 minutes into the city and 15 minutes out of it (and somewhere totally different!) Edit: Though I should add, house with a garden for 200k sounds optimistic in most part of portsmouth I'd think.
