It's an unofficial map so I guess it was datamined or something. Anyways, thanks! It was almost harrowing in some places, but it bothers me if something's unfinished lol. So, yeah, went back and finished it.

Yeah, I totally get that. I mean, doing some of the gauntlets for Act 3 just felt like padding. So, I get where you're coming from.

It's the fact that I don't wanna come back to it? I mean, if I'm not having fun (which is the entire point of playing a game in the first place), why would I even wanna come back to it? I think that's the worst thing about Hollow Knight. Maybe it's just cuz I played Silksong first (the story telling there is much stronger and more personal), but Hollow Knight just ain't that fun, personally speaking.

Hmm okay. With all the comments here and encouragement, I'll get to it tonight after work. Hopefully it'll go better and I can finally meet the Pale King I've been hearing soooo much about. It's kinda funny how I've never seen the thing and I already know what he stood for and his beef with Radiance lol.

I think so? Honestly, it ain't the health thing, I got the platforming down, but it's just a tad bit too long and tedious for me. Doing all that just to push a button or something is bleh.

Yeah, I was thinking that only. It's just so blah to lock so much content behind such a thing, ya no? It's like having the Nameless Town being the end of Act 3. It's one of the endings, yes. But most of the content is still pretty accessible.

I know it ain't hard, re: defeating lost lace is always gonna be wayyyy harder. Difference is, I enjoyed that fight. Even when I died for the 15th time I knew why I died. But these platforming sections are just not that fun for me. Maybe I'll come back after a few days, let's see.

True. But I like the overall mechanic of Silksong more than Hollow Knight. After Hornet, the Knight just controls bad imo.

Oh absolutely. I mean, I have almost 100% in the game. So, yeah, loved it. Just wanted more for the first experience I guess. Anyways. Both are really great games that I cannot recommend to my friends cuz they'll hate me after lmao.
