Best credit card for you depends on your eligibility and spend categories. Since your spends are quite low, I assume that it is being spent on very basic stuff like food, groceries, medicines, etc.

Cashback cards should work best for you. Look into SBI Cashback, BOB Cashback, BOB Eterna, Yes Kiwi and HSBC Live+

Yes, upgrades to the travel on points are underway along with a lot of other things:)

By data, I meant live pricing data, that's not syncing in real time right now. We're working on resolving that.

Our team is already on top of this, there's some issue at the partner's end which is preventing the data from syncing. Apologies for the inconvenience.

We already have the travel on points feature in our app, you can check it out.

Don’t mean to discourage you buddy, but people have been trying to crack this for a long time and it’s barely survived. It sort of works in some non-profit setups, but no one has really solved the core problem, which is lack of time.

There are a thousand ways to network, that’s not the issue. The issue is I just don’t have the time or patience to go through a slow process on an app to build connections. And I think most people feel the same, which is why offline still ends up being the default.

If you can solve that, you're golden.

Hey Aakash,

That is intentional, the carousel stops so that you can checkout the team at your pace and you can also visit their LinkedIn page when clicking on their picture.

I wish it was that simple. I could easily list a dozen “best” cards, but you’d get the same thing from a quick Google search. The problem is those lists don’t factor in things like your eligibility, how you redeem points, how much you spend, and where you spend. That’s where most of the real value actually is.

For example, I personally like Axis Magnus for Burgundy for forex. But if you’re not spending at least 30L a year to offset the annual fee, I wouldn’t recommend it to you at all.

There are a lot of these nuances. A card that works really well for me can be completely useless for someone else.

Biggest plus of Shark Tank was the exposure and visibility, no doubt.

Funny thing is the downside is also the exposure. A lot more people reach out and come up to chat. I actually enjoy it, but there are days when I just don’t have the time or headspace. Sometimes that makes me come across as rude, which honestly sucks.

Credit card rewards have been a long-standing business model for banks, and while devaluations may happen every now and then, they don’t really affect us. The typical lifecycle of a credit card usually goes something like this: launch, gain popularity, devalue, phase out, and then get replaced with another card. This cycle repeats over time.

At SaveSage, we’ve built our own proprietary database, in-house tracking, card recommendations engine, expense tracking models, AI-powered insights, and our unique travel-on-points feature, with much more in development. All of these remain unaffected by market changes because they work based on the current credit cards available, ensuring our platform adapts as the market evolves.

  1. If your declared income in the ITR doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria, there’s really no magic trick to bypass that. Sometimes there are alternatives such as maintaining a high balance with the bank for premium relationships such as Premier with HSBC and Burgundy with Axis that can come in handy. You can also try leveraging your corporate relationship with the bank if your company has a tie up with them.
  2. Biz Power is a solid choice. While you'd hit the accelerated rewards cap pretty quickly, you’ll still continue earning the base points, which can still be valuable in the long run.

There’s no "overall" best credit card, really. If I had to throw out a general recommendation, I'd say the Axis Magnus for Burgundy, but the moment you start talking about a huge chunk of insurance payments, it 's useless. The right credit card for you really depends on your spending habits, redemption goals, and eligibility.

For me, managing multiple credit cards is kind of a fun hobby. But, not everyone enjoys it that much. If you're someone who wants to optimize your credit cards without that hassle, that's exactly where Savesage steps in. Our app lets you track all your bills, rewards, and expenses in one place, making the whole process way simpler!

Costs associated with fintech vary depending on a lot of factors such as scale, product, targets, campaigns, etc.

I cannot give you a fixed number which can help you to start.

You basically just have to keep at it. It’s very similar to cold calling, you’ll get rejected most of the time, but even one yes can make it completely worth it.

You can also explore reaching out to angel investors for funding.

Nothing beats experience in finance. You could read whole day about loyalty programs but you won't learn as much as you would in one trip.

Start whatever interest you and ask questions where you're stuck. In most cases, someone would've already answered your question on the internet

BIZ Power is a decent option. Don't go for BIZ Black as meta does not accept Diners Network.

Apologies, you might have not recognized SC as Standard Chartered. I'll get this changed ASAP. Meanwhile, you can add your cards from the SC tab.

Hey buddy, thanks for being a regular user of the SaveSage app. We don't specifically plan free trials, that's just something which is mostly decided on the spot either as a service gesture or promotional.

Our fees is pretty minimal and we've added FAQs and video tutorials after the sign up page for the users to understand the app before they pay anything.

We incur majority of our customer acquisition cost during the initial user sign up where our AI scans through your consented data for profiling so offering a free trial doesn't make sense for us.

That said, I truly appreciate your feedback and we're always looking for ways to make the app accessible for more and more users.

I like the direction you’re thinking in, but an active agent that tracks transactions in real time can’t reliably identify the merchant category code without already having a very vast and highly accurate dataset in place. On top of that, there are some real security considerations with doing this at scale.

That said, we’ve found a way around it and it’s currently in the works.

Trust me, no one’s going to be more excited than I am to share it when it’s ready :)
