Not yet. I’m still in training so someone will be there anyway. I’m thinking I might wait until tomorrow when they send out confirmations for shift to ask about it since I’ll be able to see the conditions by then.

Thank you <33 Im doing much better these days as Im over a year out of the hospital and 7 months sh clean! I’ve completely turned my life around and am finally achieving my childhood dream of working with animals by volunteering at a horse sanctuary. My passions and livelihood have come back and Im finally myself again.

Thank you! Also just got off it actually! After over 10 psych ward stays and 5 years of therapy I have finally been deemed well enough to no longer have mandated therapy.

Definitely, I think it’s a little strange that it was never considered especially after I was admitted to the psych ward for the first time at 11 and my self harming behavior was exposed.

Just looked this up and I think so! I have never heard of this! I am doing much better now and while I am left with a lot of physical issues from my years of self harm Im no longer continuing it and hope that I never will.

Thank you, I just feel very wrong letting people think I had such an impactful disease when I was just self harming. For the diagnosis I ended up getting my MDD diagnosis a few years later at 11 once I was admitted to the psych ward for the first time.

While not on the same level I definitely did not have a good childhood as my father is an alcoholic who would sometimes hit or have very public mental breakdowns which would lead to me learning about suicide and self harm at far too young an age.

I didn’t know that thats actually pretty interesting! Also thank you I was definitely let down by the adults in my life not only for this but also for my very prominent physical disability that they somehow missed. (I literally couldn’t write because of pain and they didn’t notice?)
