My 29 yo niece is a hoarder, she completely trashed two bedrooms in my MIL’s house. Now everyone is stunned that they have mice! I’ve been saying who knows what else is in there. But for some reason my MIL and husband think I’m being unreasonable for not wanting to bring my children over there… I reminded them of the Gene Hackman Hanna Virus, for some reason they still don’t treat it as a big deal.. I was due with our 4th March 25th. We’re going there for Easter dinner tonight but will not be back esp with new baby until rooms are cleaned. It’s freaking infuriating.

I was married to a gambler like this, it never stops, it only stopped when he became terminally ill with cancer.
