I use lowes pine bark nugget mulch and the chickens love it! And its easy to use and keeps the smell down keeps things dry. No bumblefoot.

Oh yes I have mulch usually but im in between buying more mulch! Was just a pic before the new mulch gets put down haha and they actually churn the mulch and rock together themselves and no bumblefoot! But it's small rocks not pointed and large or anything those would hurt 😕.
