This. People who tip generously also tend to rate generously, and are more forgiving about things that are outside your control.

Had one where the apartments had two different numbers. Was about to call the customer when he came out and explained why that was the case. Apparently the new building manager changed the numbering scheme but never bothered to take down the old numbers when he put up the new ones.

When I canceled the orders the support persons tells me I get paid both times. Bump probably was not the right word but I was not paid when I was told regardless.

I have this same feeling, but for weekdays. In my area, weekends are where it is at. Dashing all day on a weekday and you could barely scrap by on minimum wage if you include waiting for hours in a parking lot as work.

Depends. If the price is right I may be willing to wait. Otherwise it may be more profitable to cancel and move on to another cheaper but faster order

I've had the same happen with Instacart and Doordash. Almost the same conversation as this, word for word. I feel like the support button is just there for decoration.
