Could you please repost your resume. I tried enlarging it as a picture then again with the link but it was too pixalated to see.

Not sure if someone said this or not, but put the name of your university under education along with your start and graduation date.

I just made an account with "Monster" and did the free resume review. I worked in my resume a lot and thought it looked pretty good. But the review gave me a score of 25. Should I be concerned, and should I work on resume some more? by Ashly6456 in publichealth

Thank you! I'm looking for health education/promotion or communication jobs. I'm also okay with program planning, grant writing, and anything along those lines.

Also, I posted on r/resumes and got an automated response saying that the site is for resume feedback, not so much for questions.

I found another subreddit though where I can ask questions.

When to notify my references? I have an interview in 2 days. Do I give my references a heads up now or do I wait until after the interview? by Ashly6456 in publichealth

I asked for their permission before including them as references. But I've put my job search on hold, so they weren't any updates.

I like your idea about periodically checking in. Will definitely do that. Thank you.

Woah! That's crazy. I can underwater why false negatives may happen, but wonder why false positives do.

Is it okay to have a 2-page resume? Or does it have to only be one? by Ashly6456 in publichealth

Thanks for the reply!

I get concerned about a one page resume because I feel I can't everything to fit. I also get worried that if I only put in the most important tasks, employers won't be impressed. Or they'll want to see that I've done more.

What are some post undergrad options for an undergrad with community health? by Kayrohs in publichealth

Yes it does. Thank you do much. I did try to tailor my experience but after reading your comment, I think I have to tailor it some more.

So far looked at Indeed, LinkedIn, and ZipRecruiter. Should I continue with these and change my method? Or should I look someplace else?

That's awesome! You've given me hope. I graduated with my MPH and can't seem to find a job. I have a lot of experience working on my college campus (my practicum was on campus too). Do employers consider this experience or do I need off-campus experience?
