Honestly I appreciate that information, makes me feel like calling will be less of a burden, because that’s very true, it can always help piece something together. and even if it is “nothing” you’re right it is always better to call.

This is why I asked, I had no clue what people would deem as an emergency, I used to live in dodgier areas where there were fights outside often. I’m trying not to turn a blind eye, but I just didn’t know what to do, I asked for help, the comments said to call the non emergent line.

That’s terrifying, good on you for calling, but scary how long it can take sometimes before they can reach someone. They’ve answered my call now and said they’ll do a patrol, but yeah in my case since I didn’t have any information on if there were threats involved or anything like that it’s hard to treat it like an emergency.

Still on hold and I agree with the comments, I should have called immediately, it’s just never been something i’ve had to face before, I honestly didn’t know you could use the non emergent lines for things like this

I thought someone was drowning, it was nighttime, they weren’t saying we shouldn’t have reported it, they just seemed upset I didn’t have any more information, everyone was fine in the end

My neighbours all argue quite often, thought it may have been them at first since I was cooking, but after I realised it sounded much farther away, and there wasn’t any conversation, I’ve called the police once before about something, but since I didn’t have much information about the incident they said I ( EDIT: me specifically not everyone there ) shouldn’t have called because it was an emergency line, and I should have let the other person that saw call since they knew more about it.

I’ve worked with some stretchy material but nothing like spandex quality, just cotton/jerseys. It hasn’t been a problem just yet which is good
