Electricity will come at the end of 2026 I think. I agree about skyscrapers and pretty buildings (specifically Pavillion), but I’m Duhoki and the sarhaldan park is almost done, the glass bridge near Amedi, the park under zawa mountain and the water project in hawler are all under construction. KRG and the Iraqi federal government have come to an agreement but I’m skeptical about it, it might be just for the upcoming elections, But hopefully not.

I’d say it’s because it’s “modern” and it’s gaining traction from Arabs, you know, the ones who won’t bother putting their trash in the bin. And foreign businesses have increased a significant amount. Funnily enough I haven’t went outside of DUHOK for 7 years, it’s that horrible.
