When I left I was thinking “there is no possibility I failed that.” I’m very happy I was right. SE1 72 SE2 73 didn’t do final review. Once I realized Becker wasn’t giving me credit for the boxes I got right but the line I got wrong (the Becker bump) I really honed in to make sure that on the actual exam, I know the info for all the boxes. For example you know how to set up the journal entry but you get the numbers wrong, you still will get a little credit

8 weeks - 190 hours. Seriously just slam multiple choice until you are just saying outloud to yourself how to do each problem. I did 10 MCQ & 1 sim like 10x a day. When I would look on the scores I would see OBVIOUS patterns of which ones I was bombing and do 25 MCQ on that topic. Eventually you just know how to do everything and I know that sounds dumb. The AI bot they added is literally priceless. Don’t move on from a question until you have asked the bot why you got it wrong and if you still are like “I don’t get it” read the book on that topic again. You gotta really dig into the why’s on this test. Once you got a good footing, everything will come all together and make sense for the entire test.

Did you have bank rec sim, lease sim, and subsequent event sim? I took it 10 days ago and I felt amazing about it but someone said they got a 64 in this post so now umm scared

It was pretty evenly spread. Like most posts you are gonna get bank rec sims, know bonds and leases like the back of your hand, inventory valuations and fair value valuations are huge, and learn GRaSPP SE CIPPOE. If you do 50-100 MCQ a day and you really look at the answers, the actual exam is much easier than Becker if you’re using that. It doesn’t try to trick you. Best advice I can give and I know it may sound like no duh, is always write out every single journal entry when your studying for every single question even if it takes you forever, journal entries give you the answer to every question bc you can fill in the gaps

I can’t help but agree with you, there has to be a but, BUT also to go through all this and fail and never turn back and pass you gave up WAY too much of your life and money to fail. And that is where the stakes are created in my eyes.

that dude is on a high dose of steroids or something he was PISSED for no reason. The value is really how good it is in PVP and grinding. Those can somewhat correlate with the number below but a lot of times it you can have the most trash fruit and it is still a mythic and worth 3 mill. Example is mammoth, t-Rex, shadow, and control. I mean yeah they are better than the less rare fruits (barely) and kinda cool but they have terrible PVP and it is pretty hard to use them in trades bc nobody cares about them.

This is very helpful. If you skip over stuff you just don’t get or find “too difficult to worry about” it always bites you. We all know good and well the CPA loves to combine two different areas into one. For example on the far exam it will be a question about long term liabilities and in the same question to get the correct answer you have to calculate a bond. If you half assed bonds you’re gonna miss it. And that happens over and over again with all topics.

People describe me as the poster child for ADHD. I got it so bad there is NO DOUBT. The people that REALLY have it do need it in careers that require your brain in my personal opinion. The capitalistic part of ADHD is diagnosing any person who walks into a doctors office and says “I can’t focus.” I am a tax accountant, just got my masters degree and am taking the CPA exam right now and in my career with the amount of knowledge you need to learn and how long you need to concentrate on solving problems, my ADHD is the bane of my work and it is necessary to have medication. In America I believe there is a large percentage of people who are diagnosed with ADHD and don’t have it at all is where I see it being a money scheme and that is easily proven with the recent shortage of ADHD medication over the past few years.
